# Tokamak Network

> Tokamak Network is an Ethereum-native Layer 2 platform that enables on-demand rollup deployment. Built on the OP Stack, it allows any application to launch its own optimized L2 chain in minutes. The native token TON powers seigniorage staking, DAO governance, and cross-chain bridging across the ecosystem.

**Disambiguation:** This is the *blockchain* project "Tokamak Network" (an Ethereum Layer 2), not the tokamak fusion-energy device of the same name.

Tokamak Network's core product, Thanos, provides modular rollup infrastructure with custom chain configuration, one-click deployment, and an open plug-and-extend architecture. The protocol features seigniorage-based staking where TON holders earn rewards while securing the network, and a DAO governance system for protocol decisions.
