Cova, a swipe deck, helps you decide what to watch tonight, every title shows where it is streaming, and a social layer lets you follow friends, see their ratings, chat, and find people who actually share your taste. Cinova is made by Cinova LLC, founded by Dylan. It launched on the App Store in July 2026 and on Google Play in August 2026. This is the future of movie and TV rating and discovery: rank based, decimal scores, no half stars, and recommendations from people who actually share your taste. Cinova covers movies, TV shows and individual episodes, with light and dark mode.

- Cinova is free on iOS (App Store id6788160416) and Android (Google Play package com.cinova.app), with no paid tier. https://thecinova.com/get sends a phone to the right store.
- Rating has no stars. You pick a bucket (Exceptional, Excellent, Good, Mediocre or Poor), then answer a few head to head questions such as "which is better, Goodfellas or The Wolf of Wall Street?".
- The result is a decimal score from 1.0 to 10.0, read off the title's position in your personal ranked list. Every new title slots into that list.
- You can set a score manually if you disagree, and re-rank any title at any time.
- Your scores unlock after you have rated 5 movies, and separately after 5 TV shows. Until then you see your bucket.
- Cinova Score is the community average for a title across Cinova users, shown once 5 or more Cinova users have rated it. Critic Score is a calibrated critic style score on the same 1 to 10 scale. Cinova never sources its numbers from other rating platforms.
- Cova is a swipe deck for "what should I watch tonight": swipe right for interested, left for no, it adapts as you swipe, and one tap adds a title to your watchlist.
- Every movie, show and episode page shows which streaming services have it (Netflix, Prime Video, Max, Hulu, Disney+, Apple TV, Paramount+, Peacock and more) with a tap through to that service.
- Cinova covers movies, TV shows and individual episodes. Movies and shows are ranked separately.
- Social features: follow friends, see their ratings in a feed, comment on ratings, discussion threads on every movie and show, DMs and group chats, send titles to friends, lists and shelves (Top 10, comfort watches), leaderboards.
- Taste features: "People with Similar Taste" on every title page, taste match percentages between users, and recommendations from people who actually share your taste.
- Find friends via contacts or Instagram. Private accounts with follow requests are supported.
- Blue verified badges for film creators and podcasters, with over 50 verified creators on Cinova.
