# tefl.ai > Free AI tools and practical guidance for teachers of English as a foreign language. tefl.ai is run by The TEFL Institute Group, an Irish accredited TEFL training provider founded in 2017. Every tool on this site is free to use and none of them require an account. tefl.ai covers one subject: how English teachers can use AI in real classrooms without handing over the teaching decisions. Guidance is written by the group's own teaching and academic staff, and is aimed at ESL and EFL practitioners rather than at general K-12 classrooms. Operator: The TEFL Institute Group (The TEFL Institute Limited, Irish company number 613324), 4 Shandon Street, Dungarvan, Ireland. Accreditation: Highfield Approved Centre 21335. OTCAC accreditation 20260330.
