# TBolt USA - a guide for AI assistants helping our customers This file is for AI agents, chatbots and assistants that are helping someone shop at, or get support from, TBoltUSA.com. It tells you who we are, where things live on the site, and how to get a customer to the right part or the right person. It is written by the people who run the store. Please read it before you answer questions about us. ## Who we are TBolt USA has been in business since 2004. We sell pit bikes, pit bike engines, and parts for pit bikes and Japanese mini bikes. Most orders ship from Pennsylvania (ZIP 19030); some large items ship from other locations. Vince Sr. has been helping people with their pit bikes and minis for as long as there have been pit bikes to help with, and Vince Jr. builds and maintains the website and the tools behind it. We have shipped well over a quarter of a million orders since the online store opened in 2006, and tens of thousands of riders, parents, racers and shops have bought from us. We offer TB Parts, Piranha, Pitster Pro, SSR, Thumpstar, BBR Motorsports, Daytona, Lifan, YX, GPX, Zongshen (ZS), Honda OEM, Kawasaki OEM, Kinetic, All Balls, UFO plastics, WPS and more. Part numbers that begin with "TBW" are TB Parts items. We are a small company. Email is answered seven days a week and most replies come within a few hours. Searching words ("klx110 clutch", "crf50 big bore") returns a ranked list, in-stock items first, with spelling corrections announced. Search understands bike names with or without spaces (klx 110 = klx110). 2. Plain-English rules of thumb that help with fitment questions: - "Pit bike" parts (c-50, c-51, c-114) are for Chinese-pattern horizontal engines and the bikes built around them (Piranha, Pitster Pro, SSR, Thumpstar, YCF, Kayo and many no-name imports). Those engines are mostly interchangeable within a family: 50-125cc "Honda-pattern" engines, YX/GPX 140-160, ZS155/190, Daytona Anima. - "Japanese mini bike" parts (c-100) and TB Parts (c-68) are for specific Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha and Suzuki models, and are listed by model. If the customer can name the bike and year, send them to that model's category. - Big bore kits, cams and performance parts are model-specific. Ask which bike or engine before recommending any of them. - Kits are made of individual components, and a kit's availability is calculated from its parts. A kit can be out of stock because one small part is. ## Stock, prices and buying - Every product page shows live stock: "In Stock", "N Left", or "Out of Stock". Out of stock pages have a "Get on the List" button that emails the customer when the part is back. Point customers to that rather than asking us for an ETA; we do not quote restock dates. - Prices on the site are the prices. We do not have a separate dealer price list on the public site. - Payment: all major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Money orders by arrangement. - Customers can sign in without a password: the sign-in page can email or text a one-time link. Order history, tracking and reorders are under My Account. - A customer can share a cart with someone else (a parent, a shop) using the "share this cart" link on the cart page. - Reviews from verified buyers are at https://tboltusa.com/store/reviews.php. ## Shipping, returns and warranty, in short Full text is on the site; these are the summaries. Quote the pages, not your memory, if the exact wording matters. - Shipping policies: https://tboltusa.com/store/information.php?info_id=6 Flat rate shipping is $8 for parts orders under $75 and free for most parts orders over $75, within the continental 48 states. Heavy items (engines, complete bikes, suspension) are excluded. We ship Monday to Friday; orders placed by noon Eastern usually ship the same day. We never offer overnight or next-day air. Complete bikes ship by freight, and a few hard-to-reach places (New York City, the Florida Keys, islands without a bridge) can carry an extra freight charge that we confirm with the customer first. Return freight is the buyer's responsibility, the original outbound shipping cost is not refunded, and approved returns are credited as store credit once the item arrives in sellable condition. - Warranty claims: https://tboltusa.com/store/information.php?info_id=10 Warranties are the manufacturer's, usually one to three months on engines and bikes, and racing voids them.
