## What is a digital business card?

A digital business card is an online contact profile that replaces a printed business card. People open it by scanning a QR code, tapping an NFC card or clicking a link, and save the details to their phone with one tap. The recipient does not need an app or an account. **Is Spreadly free?** Yes. The individual plan is free with contact details, links, QR sharing, wallet support and basic customization. NFC cards and paid features cost extra.

**Does the recipient need an app?** No. The card opens in any mobile browser. Recipients can save the contact to their phone with one tap.

**Can I update my card later?** Yes. Changes are live immediately and the link and QR code stay the same. A contact already saved to someone's phone does not update automatically.
