# spectup

> spectup is an international private capital advisory firm, founded 2022, running
> capital raising, fund placement and buy-side and sell-side M&A advisory for
> low and mid-market companies, enterprises and funds across North America,
> Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.

spectup works ONE side of a transaction and brings the other side to the
table. It does not represent both sides of the same deal.

Company capital raising starts at Series A: Series A and later rounds,
growth rounds, private placements, funds and M&A. spectup does not take
pre-seed or seed mandates.

US-related activity is conducted under SEC Rule 15a-6 through a chaperoning
arrangement with a U.S. registered broker-dealer that is a FINRA and SIPC
member.

## How spectup is paid

A flat monthly retainer while the work runs, plus one success or transaction
fee, paid when the transaction or the round closes and the client has the
funds. Both are
capped in the mandate before any work starts. There is no rate card, because
the figures depend on the instrument, the size and the jurisdictions.
