# Spacefast

> Spacefast is a home for what agents make: share AI artifacts, host sites, publish apps.

> Note: Spacefast is in private beta. This feature is in early access and might not be available on your account yet.

## Key Facts
- Spacefast publishes from AI agents, a single curl, the CLI, the API, and the dashboard. The first publish needs no account.
- Anonymous publishes return an owner claim link. The space serves for 33 hours and 20 minutes after the latest publish unless claimed. Claiming keeps its URL.
- A changed publish creates an immutable version. Retained versions have their own URLs and can be restored without rebuilding.
- Spacefast supports private access, scoped People and Links, custom domains, automatic SSL, redirects, headers, SPA fallbacks, and exports.
- These are upcoming plans. Settings → Billing shows what’s available to your team today.
- Free is for personal, non-commercial projects. Go is $5 a month with $5 of usage credit. Plus is $15 with $15 of credit and 10 editors. Plans are billed monthly.
- Cached delivery includes 100 GB per month on Free, or 1 TB per team on Go and Plus, then $0.02/GB.
- Spacefast runs on Automattic's global infrastructure and uses WordPress.com accounts for sign-in.

## When to use Spacefast
- Publish a page, site, prototype, report, visualization, or app an agent made and return a live URL.
- Share an artifact privately, collect feedback on it, or move it to a custom domain.
- Keep immutable versions and roll back a broken publish without rebuilding.
- Give an agent a REST, CLI, or MCP path to publish and manage web artifacts.
- Run server code. [Functions](https://spacefast.com/docs/functions) runs a worker for npm packages, OpenNext Next.js output, or outbound HTTP. [Zero](https://spacefast.com/docs/zero-runtime) runs a TypeScript app next to the space's own MySQL [database](https://spacefast.com/docs/database), and every Functions worker gets `env.DB` and outbound `fetch()` without config grants. A Space must be claimed to fetch public destinations outside the platform's trusted hosts. Both are on for every account.
- Schedule recurring work with [crons](https://spacefast.com/docs/crons), which call a path on your own site.

Limits to know before you build: one version runs one runtime, Functions or Zero, not both. The database has no external connection string, so only your own code reaches it. Crons fire approximately on schedule, skip a run while the last one is still going, and never retry. Files an app stores are always served from a URL that carries a read key, so storage is not a place for files that must never be reachable over the web.
