## Posts
- [Sean Taylor](https://snu.org.uk/sean-taylor/): Sean Taylor   Following confirmation of eligibility requirements under the Constitution and Bylaws, Sean Taylor is no longer Acting Vice President 2.   We recognise that this is disappointing news and extend our sincere thanks to Sean for the commitment, time and goodwill he has shown during his period of service. He has had a lasting impact on our movement. We appreciate Sean’s cooperation in supporting the organisation to ensure its governance processes are followed appropriately.   Nomination forms for the forthcoming elections have already been issued, and members will continue to have the full opportunity to participate in the democratic process and vote for their preferred candidate.   The NEC remains committed to upholding transparency, fairness and constitutional compliance in all aspects of governance, and will continue to review and strengthen processes where appropriate.   We thank members for their understanding and continued support.
- [Colin Lomax](https://snu.org.uk/colin-lomax/): Dear Members, I wanted to let you know my difficult decision to stand down from the position of Vice President of the Spiritualists’ National Union. It has been my honour to serve our members as we move our religion forward. As many of you are aware, my health has been a struggle for some time and it is important that I take the time I need to recover. I want to thank Minister Jackie Wright, the NEC, our Head Office staff and the whole movement for their support and for the opportunity to serve. I am immensely proud of what we have achieved. Our Union has changed. We are stronger, we are more outward looking and we are moving forward again. I am proud to have been part of this and offer my full support to the NEC and the whole movement as we continue this important work. Colin Lomax We wish Colin all the best for his future and we are so grateful for his support and hard work. Sean Taylor will step into the role until the election.

His desire to ensure others did not feel the same isolation and confusion became his main motivation for writing An Exploration of Trance Mediumship. Chris takes the reader on a touching quest to find greater understanding of the bridge between our world and the world of spirit, explaining key aspects of trance mediumship as well as introducing the reader to his spirit team and providing insight as to how he came to know his individual guides. All mediumship is healing, and an accurate, perceptive verbal communication from a loved one in spirit has the power to mend a metaphorical broken heart. Irish-born, he lived much of his life in the Glasgow region of Scotland. This tribute to his work, first published in 1999 deserves to be available to people who are searching for knowledge today. It went out of print with the passing of the author who was a close friend of Albert's for many years, so we felt it was time to reissue it. His work took him across the world to help those in need and although a very private man he touched many peoples' hearts and gave hope to those in desperate need. This is a heart-warming tale of a man who devoted his life to others, told by those who knew him best.
