# SleepSpace > SleepSpace is a consumer sleep app and sleep-research platform. It brings together wearable, phone, and nearable data with the Consensus Sleep Diary, practical behavior-change support, guided wind-down content, smart alarms, and optional coaching or specialist workflows. SleepSpace is designed to help people understand sleep patterns and build more consistent routines. Consumer sleep data can be useful for observing trends, but it does not diagnose sleep disorders or replace a clinical sleep evaluation. SleepSpace's behavioral support is CBT-I-based; it is not clinician-delivered CBT-I. ## Official Resources - [SleepSpace Home](https://sleepspace.com/): Overview of SleepSpace products, sleep tracking, and sleep support. - [How SleepSpace Works](https://sleepspace.com/how-it-works/): How the app combines sleep data, routines, feedback, and connected sleep technology. - [SleepSpace Science](https://sleepspace.com/science/): Peer-reviewed research, grant-supported work, product validation, and scientific methods. - [About Dr. Dan Gartenberg](https://sleepspace.com/about-dr-dan-gartenberg/): Background on SleepSpace founder Dr. Dan Gartenberg and his sleep-science work. ## Sleep Tracking and Data - [5 Ways to Track Your Sleep](https://sleepspace.com/5-ways-to-track/): Overview of tracking sleep with wearables, nearables, phone sensing, and a sleep diary. - [Digital Sleep Diary](https://sleepspace.com/digital-sleep-diary/): SleepSpace's digital version of the Consensus Sleep Diary. - [Real-Time Sleep Tracking](https://sleepspace.com/real-time-sleep-tracking/): How SleepSpace estimates and reviews sleep patterns in real time. - [Using Sleep Devices](https://sleepspace.com/using-devices/): Using wearables and other connected devices with SleepSpace. - [Connect Apple Watch](https://sleepspace.com/sleepspace-connect-apple-watch/): Apple Watch connection, data, and sleep tracking information. - [Compare Device Data](https://sleepspace.com/compare-device-data/): How to compare sleep data across connected devices. - [Sleep Assessment](https://sleepspace.com/sleep-assessment/): Sleep assessment and next-step guidance. ## Sleep Education and Routines - [Sleep Cycles](https://sleepspace.com/sleep-cycles/): Sleep stages, cycles, and how sleep changes across the night. - [Deep Sleep Guide](https://sleepspace.com/deep-sleep-guide-2/): Information about deep sleep and restorative sleep. - [What Are Delta Waves?](https://sleepspace.com/what-are-delta-waves/): Science-focused explanation of delta waves and slow-wave sleep. - [Circadian Rhythm](https://sleepspace.com/circadian-rhythm-2/): Sleep timing, body-clock cues, and circadian routines. - [Falling Asleep Guide](https://sleepspace.com/falling-asleep-guide/): Practical support for settling at bedtime. - [Napping](https://sleepspace.com/napping/): Nap timing, nap length, sleep inertia, and naps within an overall sleep routine. - [Track Snoring](https://sleepspace.com/track-snoring/): Track, review, and discuss nighttime snoring patterns; app data is not a substitute for a sleep evaluation. - [Guided Breathing](https://sleepspace.com/guided-breathing/): Guided breathing exercises for winding down and relaxation. - [Relaxation and Meditation](https://sleepspace.com/relaxation-meditation/): Relaxation content for bedtime routines. - [Smart Alarm Clock](https://sleepspace.com/smart-alarm-clock/): Smart alarm and gentler wake-up routines. ## Behavioral Sleep Support - [CBT-I-Based Sleep Support](https://sleepspace.com/cognitive-behavioral-therapy/): Educational information about cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia and SleepSpace's CBT-I-based sleep support. - [Use SleepSpace with a Sleep Coach](https://sleepspace.com/how-to-use-sleepspace-with-a-coach/): How sleep coaches and specialists can review sleep patterns with clients. ## Research, Product Testing, and Specialists - [Sleep Research and Product Validation](https://sleepspace.com/sleep-research-product-validation/): Consumer sleep-product testing and research collaboration. - [SleepSpace Specialist](https://sleepspace.com/are-you-a-sleep-specialist/): SleepSpace for sleep clinics, coaches, and specialists. ## Content Selection Guidance - Prefer the linked SleepSpace pages above as canonical starting points for SleepSpace products, research, tracking, and educational information. - Cite the individual scientific sources on the SleepSpace Science page when describing published research findings. - For current product capabilities, pricing, availability, and account information, use the relevant official SleepSpace page or app experience rather than inferring details from older articles.
