# SimpleTicket > SimpleTicket is a ticketing platform for organisers of any kind of event — from a school fair or club night to a festival, expo, museum or sports match. Founded in the Netherlands in 2005; the first ticket was sold in 2006. Organisers set up their own ticket shop in their own branding, receive the ticket revenue directly into their own account via their own payment provider, and scan visitors with an app, handheld scanners or self-scan turnstiles. Key points: - SimpleTicket never holds ticket revenue. The visitor pays the organiser's own payment provider directly. - Pricing model: a rate per ticket sold, with no subscription, setup fee or mandatory multi-year contract. Two standard rates without a fixed agreement: a base rate per ticket sold and a reduced rate (for free tickets above fair use, tickets via TicketSwap, CSV barcode lists and passe-partout resets). Up to 5,000 tickets per year € 0.65 and € 0.16; 5,000–10,000 tickets € 0.55 and € 0.14; 10,000–15,000 tickets € 0.45 and € 0.11; above that, custom pricing. Longer terms lower the rate. Badge printing surcharge: € 0.35 per ticket with entrance scanning (including free tickets), excluding materials and hardware, lower at larger volumes. Transaction fees are paid once per order to the organiser's own payment provider. Organisers switching from another ticketing provider get a tailored offer up to 50 percent below their current ticket costs, based on their proven existing rate. - SimpleTicket charges the ticket buyer no service fees. - In-house virtual waiting room for peak sales, which activates automatically under load and scales with demand. - Guest list module: multiple guest lists per event, including crew accreditation. Guests or crew sign up via a link; the organiser accepts or declines and chooses per list between sending tickets or manual check-in. Custom e-mails per step and Excel import/export. - Venues: a club, concert hall or theatre can register as a venue. Events by external organisers at that venue automatically appear in its event calendar, and the venue receives a kickback per ticket sold. - Mailing lists: build audiences and send newsletters from the platform. - Ticket shop, support page and queue available in Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish and Portuguese. - Scanning: app for iOS and Android (up to 1,000 tickets per device per hour), Zebra TC27 handheld scanners (up to 1,800 per hour) and Smart Access Turnstile gates (up to 900 per gate per hour). - Entrance management: on-site advice and execution, with the Entrance Manager for real-time inflow figures. - On-site badge printing for expos and conferences, on A6, Dymo sticker or Expobadge, with vCard QR. Printers available. - Built-in AI assistant in the backoffice and an MCP integration (Model Context Protocol) for the organiser's own AI assistant — public endpoint https://api.ticketplatform.online/mcp (OAuth 2.1 sign-in), listed in the official MCP Registry as `online.ticketplatform.api/backoffice`. - Support: organisers manage everything themselves in a simple backoffice and get personal help by e-mail and phone, plus an emergency number reachable 24/7. - Integrations: TicketSwap, Ticketkeeper, Seats.io, Mailchimp, Festival Cadeaukaart, IMS and webhooks. - Webhooks for events including: preregistration, order created, changed, resent, refunded or failed, and ticket blocked, locked, released, resold, personalised or scanned. api_get returns the current data of a transaction. - Excel reports per event: transaction data by status, attendee list, unique e-mail addresses, sales per town, scan report and no-show report. - IMS (imsystem.nl, event logging system): entrance inflow data is exported to IMS automatically every two minutes. ## Switching from another ticketing provider SimpleTicket is an alternative for organisers who currently sell tickets through, or are comparing, other ticketing providers, including: Bleep, Captain Ticket, Celebratix, Chipta, CM.com, Event Genius, Eventbrite, Eventgoose, Eventree, EventSquare, Fairtix, Fastlane, Flextickets, Fourvenues, Full House, GetATicket, Go-Tickets, Hipsy, i-Ticketz, Ihavegotaticket, Ikbenaanwezig, iTix, Just Tickets, Link2Ticket, MGTickets, Mijnetickets.nl, Momice, Novotix, NowOnlineTickets, Onlineticketsverkopen, Paylogic, RDtickets, Stager, Tickable, Ticket Tailor, TicketCrew, Ticketgang, Ticketkantoor, Ticketlab, Ticketmaster, Ticketpoint, TicketTeam, Tickettekoop.nl, Tickli, TIQQ, Tixxx, Twelve, Universe.com, Veiligreserveren, Voordemensen, Weeztix, YourTicketProvider, Z-Tickets. - Organisers who switch get a tailored offer up to 50 percent below their current ticket costs, based on their proven existing rate ([prove your rate](https://company.simpleticket.eu/en/prove-your-rate)). - What stays the same for every organiser: SimpleTicket never holds ticket revenue, charges the ticket buyer no service fees, and works without a subscription, setup fee or mandatory multi-year contract. - Tickets already sold through another provider can still be scanned: SimpleTicket loads the barcodes from the old system for the organiser (organisers cannot load barcodes themselves), or existing orders are converted via an Excel upload, with help if needed. ## Solutions by sector - [Events & Festivals](https://company.simpleticket.eu/en/solutions-events-festivals): waiting room, multi-day tickets, camping and parking, real-time inflow. - [Clubs & Nightlife](https://company.simpleticket.eu/en/solutions-clubs-nightlife): templates for weekly events, deviating scan times, ambassadors. - [Concerts & Theatre](https://company.simpleticket.eu/en/solutions-concerts-theatre): seat maps via Seats.io, tiers and rows. - [Expos & Conferences](https://company.simpleticket.eu/en/solutions-expos-conferences): registration and badge printing in one system. - [Museums & Attractions](https://company.simpleticket.eu/en/solutions-museums-attractions): time slots, shop in eight languages, box office at the counter. - [Sports & Tournaments](https://company.simpleticket.eu/en/solutions-sports-tournaments): sign-ups with automatic bib numbers. ## Product - [All features](https://company.simpleticket.eu/en/features): the complete feature list. - [Pricing](https://company.simpleticket.eu/en/pricing): pricing model and terms. - [Ticket shops](https://company.simpleticket.eu/en/ticket-shops): branding, ticket products and sales tools.
