# SellerSonar

> SellerSonar is an Amazon listing monitoring and protection platform for sellers, agencies, and brands. It continuously tracks ASINs across all Amazon marketplaces and sends real-time alerts on hijackers, Buy Box loss, listing changes, suppressions, keyword ranks, and competitor activity — no Seller Central connection required.

SellerSonar was built by Amazon sellers for Amazon sellers. The platform checks listings every 1–4 hours (depending on plan), detects issues within minutes, and delivers alerts via email, in-app, Slack, Trello and webhooks. Core use cases: protecting revenue from hijackers, monitoring Buy Box ownership, catching unauthorized listing changes, tracking keyword rankings, monitoring competitor pricing, tracking review and rating trends, and detecting suppressed listings.

Named capabilities a seller will see in the product: SharkGuard, which watches for hijacked ASINs in marketplaces you do not sell in; a keyword Heatmap showing every tracked keyword against every day, split by organic and sponsored; keyword grouping and an Organic TOP 3 metric; Buy Box Stability, which scores how consistent Buy Box ownership is over a period; Shelf Intelligence for Share of Voice and Share of Shelf; Return Rating signals including Frequently Returned and Kept Item badges; product groups with file-template import; and multi-account with shared or fixed limit allocation. An MCP server connects the data to AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT.

Note on reviews: SellerSonar tracks review volume, rating trends, star-rating changes and Vine reviews, with AI sentiment analysis and top-phrase grouping, and sends review alerts on events such as a new negative review, a review removed or restored, a review edited, a rating change and a new Vine review. There are about 18 selectable review alert types, including separate alerts for a review title and a review body being edited.

Two practical notes. Review data is collected through the SellerSonar Chrome Extension rather than by server-side parsing, so review monitoring is set up by installing the extension, signing in to SellerSonar, and keeping a marketplace tab open with an Amazon buyer or business account logged in, one tab per marketplace. That is what lets SellerSonar read review data without a Seller Central connection. Review data refreshes several times a day, so alerts are near real-time rather than instant at the moment a review posts.
