We are not a distributor or a catalog reseller. Every door is built to the customer's dimensions after the order is placed, from solid timber rather than veneer over an engineered core. If a RealCraft door is specified in White Oak, the stiles and rails are White Oak throughout. Founded by a timber framer. Manufacturing, drafting, and design consultation all happen at one facility in Gig Harbor, WA. The price shown on a product page is a starting price for the base configuration. Final price depends on species, size, glazing, jamb, and hardware selections. The configurator is on each product page. **Wood species.** 20 species are available to order online without a special order: Accoya, Alder (Knotty Alder), Black Walnut, Knotty Black Walnut, Cherry, Clear Douglas Fir, Reclaimed Fir, Cypress, Maple, Rustic Maple, Padauk, Paint Grade Hardwood (Red Grandis), Sapele, Spanish Cedar, Western Red Cedar, Wenge, White Oak (Plain Sawn), White Oak (Quarter Sawn), Knotty White Oak, and Zebrawood. Ash, European Beech, Hickory, Red Oak, and Iroko are available by phone consultation. Species recommended for exterior use: Accoya, White Oak in all three cuts, Sapele, Cypress, Western Red Cedar, and Padauk. Cherry, Black Walnut, Spanish Cedar, Wenge, Zebrawood, Reclaimed Fir, and Paint Grade Hardwood are suited to protected exterior openings under an overhang or covered porch. Maple, Rustic Maple, Ash, Beech, Hickory, and Red Oak are interior only. **Sizes.** Ranges are set per design and vary widely by door type. Typical configurable envelopes: - Interior sliding, pocket and swinging doors: 24 to 48 inches wide, 80 to 108 inches tall - Exterior entry doors: 32 to 52 inches wide, 80 to 114 inches tall, with some designs reaching 60 inches wide and 120 inches tall - Pivot doors: 40 to 72 inches wide, 80 to 144 inches tall - Carriage garage doors: 28 to 84 inches per door leaf, 80 to 120 inches tall - Bifolding garage doors: 108 to 192 inches total opening width, 80 to 120 inches tall - Sidelights, where offered: 8 to 30 inches wide The exact range for any given door is the one shown in its own configurator. Doors outside a design's configurable range are built through our custom program. Thickness options are 1-1/2, 1-3/4, and 2-1/4 inches; which of these a door offers depends on its design and its size. **Glass.** Insulated glazing in Clear, Satin Etched, Seedy Reamy, Flemish, Narrow Reed, and Velvex. **Jamb.** Doors ship as a slab, or pre-hung with a jamb at 6-9/16 inch or 4-9/16 inch depth. Jambs are available in paint grade hardwood or matched to the door species. **Hinges.** Steel and stainless steel ball bearing hinges, plus concealed hinge upgrades. Finishes include dark bronze, satin nickel, satin brass, and matte black, in steel or solid brass. Solid brass is recommended for coastal and high-moisture environments. **Handing.** Left or right hand, inswing or outswing, specified at order. **Finish.** Doors ship unfinished, or with a Luxe Oil Stain or Luxe Clear Satin finish applied. Stain colors are Red Velvet, Chai Spice, Devil's Food Cake, Hazelnut Truffle, Salted Caramel, Old Fashioned Nougat, Silver Spoon, and Creme Anglaise. Unfinished exterior doors must be sealed within 14 days of delivery to keep warranty coverage. Full species detail is at [wood species](https://realcraft.com/pages/wood-species). ## Lead times Lead times start when the customer signs the shop drawing, not when the order is placed. - Hardware: ships in 1 to 3 days - Sliding barn doors and pocket doors: 2 to 3 weeks - Entry and exterior doors: 6 to 12 weeks depending on complexity - Carriage doors: 6 to 10 weeks Because manufacturing is domestic and in-house, these schedules are not exposed to overseas shipping delays. Delivery is curbside and does not include moving the crate onto the property. Orders should be inspected within 48 hours of delivery for shipping damage. Custom orders include a shop drawing. The first two revisions are free; additional drafts are $250 each. Orders at or above $3,000 can be started with a 50% deposit, with the balance due when the door is ready to ship.
