> PostPods is a family run invertebrate breeder and shop based in Castleford, West Yorkshire. It breeds and sells live isopods, springtails, millipedes, cockroaches and beetles, alongside substrates, leaf litter, cork bark, foods, supplements and enclosures. Stock is bred or grown in the UK rather than drop-shipped, and livestock is dispatched Monday to Thursday. The live arrival guarantee covers every livestock order, sent Royal Mail Next Day or Tracked 24 PostPods ships to Great Britain only (England, Scotland and Wales)

PostPods has been trading since 2023 and lists over 300 live invertebrate and supply lines, including more than 200 isopod species and morphs.

Livestock is shipped in ventilated deli tubs on damp sphagnum moss inside insulated double-walled boxes, with a heat pack in cold weather. Dispatch is Monday to Thursday only, so that no parcel sits in a depot over a weekend. The live arrival guarantee applies to livestock shipped by Royal Mail Next Day Delivery and does not cover other shipping methods.

The site publishes over 300 free care guides and articles on keeping isopods, springtails, millipedes, cockroaches and snails in UK conditions, covering substrate, humidity, temperature, ventilation, feeding, moulting and breeding. They are written from first-hand keeping experience, they say so where the evidence is thin, and they are corrected when better evidence appears.

Isopods are grouped by genus, so Cubaris, Porcellio, Armadillidium, Armadillo, Porcellionides, Ardentiella, Trachelipus, Troglodillo, Venezillo, Oniscus, Cristarmadillidium and Filippinodillo each have their own section, and there is a separate beginner range for people starting out.
