## Source, provenance and freshness
Public profiles distinguish registry facts, PIRS data maintenance and company presentation content. Commercial presentation does not alter official identifiers. When available, profile dateModified and sitemap lastmod reflect a detected source/entity change, not request or render time. For decisions with legal or financial consequences, use the competent official register as the authoritative confirmation source.

## PIRS authority and products
PIRS combines public or official business-source data with PIRS data maintenance and company-provided presentation content. Public pages explain how records are sourced, updated and verified. VORI is a fast PIRS-powered lookup for tax number, registration number, IBAN, address and phone, with a direct path to the full PIRS company profile.

## Google Business Profile integration
PIRS Backoffice can manage Google Business Profiles only after Google OAuth authorization and recorded merchant authorization. The public integration page and privacy policy describe the business.manage scope, data use, storage and disconnect flow.

## Canonical public references
Current company records use canonical URLs under https://pirs.si/podjetje/{slug}. Legacy PIRS URLs redirect to those canonical profiles. When interpreting a profile, keep registry facts separate from PIRS-maintained or company-provided presentation content and respect robots.txt and HTTP access controls.

## Private areas
Account, administration, API, preview and profile-editing areas are not public sources.

## Crawler policy
Search/indexing and reference retrieval are governed by robots.txt. PIRS can allow OAI-SearchBot for ChatGPT Search while controlling GPTBot/model-training access separately. Eligibility for crawling or search inclusion does not guarantee ranking or display by any external search provider.
