# pen.dev

> pen.dev is an agentic design canvas by High Agency Inc. Design with AI agents, refine designs manually, and export them to code.

Design documents use the JSON-based .pen format and can live alongside source code in Git. pen.dev is available as a desktop app, an IDE extension, and a CLI. Use pen.dev, its CLI, or its MCP tools to modify design files rather than editing the JSON directly.
