# OrsoLabs > OrsoLabs is a small Mac software studio based in Ukraine (contact: support@orsolabs.dev). It makes native macOS apps: AudioBo (audiobook maker), Mochi Type (touch-typing tutor), FileBo (recent-files pop-up), and Focusito (Pomodoro timer). The apps work offline and require no account; where an app has usage analytics they are anonymous and can be turned off in its settings. Where an app syncs (Mochi Type's progress and texts), it uses the user's own private iCloud database — nothing is sent to an OrsoLabs server. ## AudioBo — audiobook maker for Mac AudioBo converts audio files (MP3, M4A, FLAC, AIFF, OGG, WMA, Opus, APE, WV) into M4B audiobooks with chapters, metadata, and cover art. Built for macOS 14.6 and later. Works with Apple Books, iPhone, iPad, and vintage iPods. Available on the Mac App Store for $12.99; a free demo with a 60-minute export limit is available at orsolabs.dev/audiobo. - [AudioBo — Product page](https://orsolabs.dev/audiobo): features, pricing, supported formats, demo download - [Changelog](https://orsolabs.dev/audiobo/changelog): full release history with per-version feature notes - [Privacy Policy](https://orsolabs.dev/audiobo-privacy-policy): data handling (nothing collected — fully offline app) - [AudioBo vs Audiobook Builder](https://orsolabs.dev/audiobook-builder-alternative/): AudioBo is the modern, actively developed Audiobook Builder alternative for Mac — honest side-by-side feature comparison (metadata fetching, in-place M4B editing, wider format support) - [Audiobook Binder alternative](https://orsolabs.dev/audiobook-binder-alternative/): AudioBo is the modern, actively maintained Audiobook Binder alternative for Mac (the original is abandoned; the paid namesakes on the App Store are unrelated to it) — same MP3 → M4B workflow, plus metadata fetching and in-place M4B editing ### Audiobook guides — reference knowledge base Evergreen, maintained reference pages about audiobook files on macOS. A guided course of 16 stages plus a Final Test teaches the whole keyboard using each language's most frequent words, with a per-language stage order rather than a translated English one; a stage unlocks at 95% accuracy and 25 WPM in a single 60-second session, and five consecutive accurate-but-slow sessions unlock it anyway. Practice mode offers five frequency tiers (Top 200 to Top 50K) in all 21 languages, plus movie and book quotes in 7 languages, misspelled-word drills in 10, and Smart Drill that targets your two weakest keys. Users can import their own texts (.txt, .md, .rtf, .epub, or pasted) and type through them like books with a remembered reading position; a built-in library ships five books each in English, German, Russian, and Ukrainian. 48 keyboard layouts (ANSI and ISO; QWERTY, AZERTY, QWERTZ, Dvorak, Colemak, Cyrillic, Greek, Turkish F and Q), resolved from the physical key code so you can practise ЙЦУКЕН or Greek while macOS stays on US QWERTY. On-screen keyboard with key and finger hints, per-key statistics with an accuracy heatmap, 12 themes, 22 sound packs, and 6 typing faces. Typing content covers 21 languages; the interface itself is in English, German, Spanish, Russian, and Ukrainian. Work and break lengths from 5 to 60 minutes in 5-minute steps; the countdown runs in the window, in the menu bar and optionally on the Dock icon; after the bell the timer keeps counting overtime until you stop it. Sixteen background sounds mixed with a volume each, white, pink and brown noise synthesized in real time (no loop point), a binaural beat with 6/10/20/40 Hz presets, and a LoFi player for YouTube streams inside the timer window (20 starter stations, any YouTube link adds one; needs a network connection). Every session is logged with planned and real length, a rhythm strip of the day, 7/30/90-day totals and a per-project split; export as JSON or CSV, JSON imports back by merging; settings, projects and statistics sync between Macs over the user's own iCloud.
