# NoteStream AI

> NoteStream is an AI notes and task app where you capture anything (typing, voice, or email to n@to.notestream.ai), AI automatically classifies each capture as a note or task and files it into threads/channels, and you can dispatch tasks directly to your own AI stack (for example Claude, Claude Code and Lovable) and review the AI's results in a review queue. Your tasks, your notes, your AI. All in one place.

## Personal API tokens

- Use a personal token to let Claude Desktop, Claude Cowork, Cursor, ChatGPT or any MCP/HTTP client capture into NoteStream and act as you. Treat it like a password. Create it under Settings > API tokens (POST to the mcp-proxy endpoint with header x-mcp-secret: <token>). Available actions: list_threads, list_notes, search, create_note, create_task.
