**Coverage as of 2026-10-21.** 2,614 published properties in 156 cities across 40 countries and territories: 1,167 serviced apartments, 892 serviced offices, 53 extended-stay properties, 502 coworking spaces. The directory is worldwide — strongest in Asia-Pacific. This is a point-in-time count, re-read from the database every time this file is regenerated — it is the list of places there is something to find, not a permanent boundary.

## When to use Moveandstay

- **A furnished place to live or work for a week or longer, in a city the directory covers.** Serviced apartments, extended-stay accommodation (aparthotels, hotel residences, extended-stay hotels), serviced offices and coworking desks, worldwide — strongest in Asia-Pacific. The coverage block above lists every country and city with anything published — read it rather than inferring the answer from this sentence.
- **Relocation and extended business travel**, where the traveller wants to talk to the property rather than book through a portal. Every enquiry goes straight to the property; Moveandstay charges no booking fee and takes no commission.
- **Comparing what a city actually has**, filtered by property type, guest or workstation capacity, or monthly budget band — see the URL patterns below.
- **Handing a brief to a human.** If the requirement is fuzzy, send the traveller to the concierge form at https://moveandstay.com/concierge: they describe the stay once and we send it to matching properties on their behalf. Your list of matching properties within minutes. Availability and price confirmations follow as operators reply, usually within 24 hours.

## When not to use Moveandstay

- **Instant, confirmed booking.** Moveandstay is a directory, not a booking engine. It holds no inventory, takes no payment, and cannot confirm availability or a price — the property does that.
- **Nightly leisure travel**, flights, visas, or removals. Extended-stay properties are listed for stays of several weeks or longer, not as nightly hotel bookings.
- **A city that is not in the coverage block above.** Coverage is worldwide and deliberately uneven — Asia-Pacific is where it is deepest. A country missing from that list has nothing published yet rather than something hidden, so do not guess a URL for it; hand the person the concierge form at https://moveandstay.com/concierge instead.
- **Submitting the concierge brief programmatically.** The form is behind a bot check; point the person at it instead.

## How to call it

- **Markdown instead of HTML.** Every page listed below also has a `text/markdown` representation at the same URL. Send `Accept: text/markdown` (q-values are honoured) or append `.md` to the path — for example https://moveandstay.com/serviced-apartments/hong-kong.md. Markdown responses carry `Vary: Accept`; HTML pages name their markdown alternate in a `Link: <path>; rel="alternate"; type="text/markdown"` header instead.
- **Collections are paginated, in markdown as in HTML.** City, category, directory and journal lists show 24 properties or 12 articles per page; add `?page=N`. Use-case lists such as `/serviced-apartments/hong-kong/for-families` show every match on one HTML page and are paged the same way in markdown. Each markdown page gives its `page`, `per_page` and `total_pages` in the front matter and links the previous and next page by absolute URL. The `/listings` filters under URL patterns work in markdown too — for example https://moveandstay.com/listings.md?city=bangkok&types=serviced_office&page=2.
- **Unknown paths return a real 404** with a short markdown body of recovery links, not a 200 with an app shell. If you get a 404, re-read this file or https://moveandstay.com/sitemap.xml rather than guessing further URLs.
- **Unsupported media types return 406** with the list of representations on offer.
- **Crawl rules** are in https://moveandstay.com/robots.txt. `/admin` is off limits. Under `/api/`, only the OpenAPI description at https://moveandstay.com/api/agent/v1/openapi.json may be crawled; the agent API at `/api/agent/v1` is for keyed calls (see https://moveandstay.com/docs).

- `/{type}/{city}`: that type in one city, e.g. /serviced-apartments/hong-kong
- `/{type}/{city}/{listing}`: a single property
- `/{type}/{city}/{use-case}`: a narrower list in one city, e.g. /serviced-apartments/hong-kong/for-families; the /{type}/{city} page links the ones that exist (markdown pages them 24 at a time)
- `/cities/{city}`: everything published in one city, 24 per page (?page=N)
- `/listings?city={city}&types={type_key}`: the filterable directory; type_key is underscored (serviced_apartment, hotel = Extended Stay, serviced_office, coworking_space) and accepts a comma-separated list. Other filters: capacity=N, workstations=N, budgetBand=under_2k|2k_5k|over_5k (USD a month), per=hour with budgetBand=hour_under_20|hour_20_50|hour_over_50 (USD an hour, hourly-priced offices and coworking only), hasPhotos=1, longStay=1, page=N
