# Mitrex > Mitrex is a Canadian manufacturer of building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV), based in Toronto, Ontario. Its eFacade solar cladding replaces conventional facade materials and generates electricity, for commercial, institutional and multi-residential buildings across North America. Mitrex also makes solar railings, solar glass, solar roofing, solar noise barriers and solar parking structures, and offers design assist for architects and engineers. Key facts: - Founded in 2019. Sister company Cladify (established 2014) makes non-solar composite cladding. - eFacade product lines: LITE, PRO, PRO+ and TILT. - Solar generation: up to 18 W/ft² (LITE, PRO, PRO+) and up to 15 W/ft² (TILT). -
