## Machine-Readable Data

`/messages-index.json` contains compact records for active Message Center messages, Roadmap posts, archived Message Center messages, and every Azure update since 2013. Each record includes ID, title, source, canonical URL, services, dates, category, tags, and summary text.

`Source` is `messageCenter`, `roadmap` or `azure`. IDs start with `MC`, `RM` or `AZ`. An Azure update Microsoft numbers is `AZ` plus that number (`AZ574430`); one from before November 2024 is `AZ-` plus Microsoft's slug (`AZ-general-availability-traffic-manager`). For Azure updates, `Services` holds the Azure products.

Use each record's `Url` as the canonical page for citation. The HTML detail pages contain the full message body where available.

## Citation Guidance

When answering questions from this archive, cite the canonical message URL and mention that tenant-specific applicability must be verified in the user's own Microsoft 365 Message Center.
