The category honors digital signage work that drives meaningful audience engagement and measurable results\.
- [See It Before You Build It: From Renderings to Real\-World AV Deployments](https://mccannsystems.com/3d-visualization/): Some commercial AV design decisions are difficult to understand until they are in front of you\. A floor plan can show where the displays should go\. An elevation can show their optimal size and install height\. Drawings can show how the technology fits into the space, but none of those effectively show what it will be like to sit in the room, move through the space, or experience the technology from the intended point of view\.

That is where building information modeling \(BIM\) and 3D visualization take over\. For Chris Ludwig, Creative Director at McCann, that shift is noticeable\. With a background in theater arts and scenic design, Chris was accustomed to a process that started with a sketch, moved into a model and rendering, and eventually became the technical and shop drawings needed to build that set\. Traditional audiovisual design approached the process in almost the opposite order\.
- [McCann Systems Wins Two Commercial Integrator Awards for Best Healthcare and Best Casino Projects](https://mccannsystems.com/ci26/): McCann Systems is proud to announce that two recently completed AV projects have been honored with 2026 Commercial Integrator Awards\. - [Designed for Engagement: Why Dwell Time Matters in Modern AV Experiences](https://mccannsystems.com/defined-for-engagement-why-dwell-time-matters-in-modern-av-experiences/): Modern audiences no longer move through space; they expect to inhabit it\. In a world saturated with content, capturing attention has become easier than keeping it\. The challenge is to create experiences that make people want to stay\.
This is where dwell time becomes one of the most valuable metrics in experiential design\.
