# David Lesage — Musique visible (handpan, Neotone, Handpan Constellation Studio)

- [Structured — daily planner](https://structured.app/) : The app I use to organise my days as a musician-entrepreneur, between concerts, workshops and project development. A clear visual timeline instead of a to-do list that keeps piling up.

### Blog — all articles
- [Playing two handpans together: what a second handpan gives you](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/deux-handpans-ensemble/) : A second handpan, acoustic or Neotone? The app asks what you want to do with the pair, shows the chords you can only play together and keeps your pairs safe.
- [The handpan's capo: the same shape in every key](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/le-capo-du-handpan/) : On an electronic handpan in Logic mode, a degree's constellation keeps the same shape whatever the key. Same gestures, different pitch — like a capo on a guitar.
- [Reading the colours: the note, its place in the scale, or nothing](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/les-deux-visions-chromakeys/) : Reading the colours means answering three independent questions: what the colour says, whether shared notes split apart, and whether chords are drawn. Three settings, valid on an acoustic handpan and an electronic one alike.
- [Neotone with 10 notes or 19 notes: which one should you choose?](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/neotone-10-ou-19-notes/) : The 10-note Neotone¹ and the 19-note Neotone¹ Mutant don't serve the same project. Main instrument, voice, or a complement to your acoustic handpan: the cases where one or the other is the right choice.
- [Your score comes alive: the player, the repeats, the music stand](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/ta-partition-prend-vie/) : The score no longer just gets printed: it plays, lights up chord after chord, counts your repeats and goes full screen.
- [Quick Jam: accompany a musician in three clicks](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/jam-rapide-accompagner-un-musicien/) : A friend calls out "G minor, I-IV-V on the verse"? Three clicks and your score is ready. And if you only know the chords, the app works out the key.
- [The three faces of minor: natural, harmonic, melodic](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/les-trois-mineurs-handpan/) : Under Logic Mode's "Sad" button, three shades of minor. Two dots rise by a semitone, and the oriental or jazz colour appears.
- [Acoustic duo: two handpans that become one](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/deux-handpans-mode-hybride/) : Acoustic duo: when a second handpan joins the first, Handpan Constellation Studio draws each chord across both and tells you what the duo really unlocks.
- [Loop your chords, and sing over them](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/jouer-avec-un-batteur-handpan/) : The accompaniment bar loops one chord — or a whole progression — at the tempo you choose. And when you want more, a drummer joins in.
- [The handpan players map: everyone has a star on it](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/la-carte-des-joueurs/) : The app's handpan players map: everyone is a star on it, with a first name, an initial and a country. Find a teacher, a player or a maker near you, at a glance.
- [“My handpans”: a single door to your instruments](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/mes-handpans-une-seule-porte/) : Declare your pan, set a second one beside it, find your setup again on the iPad: there used to be five different paths, now there's only one. Here's which one, and what has changed.
- [“Reveal”: everything your handpan already knows how to play](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/reveler-les-accords-de-ton-handpan/) : A D Kurd 10 gives you 6 chords and lets you accompany over 150 pieces from the repertoire. One button shows you that, before you even think about a second instrument.
- [The music library: what if your scale told you what to play?](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/bibliotheque-musicale-handpan/) : Songs to accompany, handpan pieces, your own compositions: Handpan Constellation Studio's library tells you which ones your scale can actually play.
- [From 2 to 24 keys: completing your acoustic handpan with a Neotone](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/completer-son-handpan-acoustique-avec-un-neotone/) : You have a D Kurd 10 and you're going round in circles. Set beside it, a Neotone adds exactly the notes that are missing: 2 complete keys become 24, and you can finally accompany yourself while singing.
- [Compose your melody note by note: the melody editor](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/editeur-de-melodies-handpan/) : Drop your handpan's notes onto a timeline, listen, loop, speed up — and export as .mid. Handpan Constellation Studio's melody editor.
- [Improve Handpan Constellation Studio: the feedback feature](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/feedback-ameliorer-handpan-studio/) : Handpan Constellation Studio evolves thanks to you: from inside the app, send a bug, an idea, a question or a thought in one click. Every message is read and shapes what comes next.
- [Create and export your chord diagrams as PDF](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/diagrammes-accords-handpan-pdf/) : Each chord drawn as a colourful mini-handpan: notes, play order, suggested fingering. Export your chord diagrams as printable PDF or PNG.
- [The score editor: play your songs on the handpan](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/editeur-de-partition-handpan/) : Song Mode shows lyrics with chord diagrams anchored above the words. Play Hallelujah or Let It Be on the handpan, no music theory needed.
- [Learn your chords step by step: the guided mode](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/apprendre-les-accords-handpan/) : In Handpan Constellation Studio, your handpan becomes a guided surface: the app lights up the coloured note to play and walks you through, chord after chord, with sound and visual feedback.
- [Keep and share your chords: the score editor](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/exporter-ses-partitions-handpan/) : Export your progressions and visual scores as PDF or PNG to review, keep or pass on. Handpan Constellation Studio's visual score editor.
- [Playing the Neotone with headphones: your immersive bubble](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/jouer-et-chanter-au-casque-neotone/) : The Neotone, an electronic handpan, plays through headphones: disturbing no one, in spatialised stereo sound of total purity. The discreet strength of electronic.
- [Transpose to sing in your own key](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/transposer-pour-chanter-handpan/) : Your voice doesn't sit right with the handpan? Shift the anchor note in one move and change key to sing at your natural pitch.
- [The 4 magic chords on handpan](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/les-4-accords-magiques-handpan/) : A handful of chords behind thousands of songs. Discover the 4 magic chords and play them on handpan with Logic Mode.
- [Vocal layouts: accompanying every voice](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/layouts-vocaux-handpan/) : Deep, Bright, Wide: three Logic Mode layouts that adapt the chords to the singer's range so the voice settles naturally.

- [Accompanying songs on handpan, like a guitar](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/accompagner-des-chansons-au-handpan/) : Logic Mode turns the handpan from a meditative drone instrument into a real song-accompaniment instrument, no music theory needed.
- [Nomad setup: Neotone + Bose S1 Pro+, the self-sufficient musician's combo](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/setup-nomade-neotone-bose-s1/) : Play anywhere with no mains power: the Neotone and the Bose S1 Pro+ make a 100% battery-powered setup, up and running in one minute. Gear, budget and buying links.
- [My advice for being fully in the sound with a Neotone](https://www.lesagedavid.fr/en/blog/etre-bien-dans-le-son-neotone/) : The Neotone has no built-in speaker: where should you place yours to be truly in the sound? My advice — behind you, at head height — with diagrams.
