# Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc. > The official site of Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc., the Mary Burmeister organisation in > Scottsdale, Arizona. Jin Shin Jyutsu is a physio-philosophy: an art of > harmonising the life energy in the body. The site publishes the class > schedule, replays of past online classes and webinars, and the bookstore. Jin Shin Jyutsu was revived in the early 1900s by Master Jiro Murai in Japan and brought to the United States by Mary Burmeister in the 1950s. She began teaching in the early 1960s, and there are now students throughout the United States and around the world. Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc. works in conjunction with Jin Shin Jyutsu Spirit Mind Body (JSJSMB), the nonprofit faculty group. JSJSMB carries the full listing of classes and instructor information, and now hosts the practitioner locator, so many links here lead there. Note for anyone summarising this site: Jin Shin Jyutsu is a complementary practice, not a substitute for medical care, and nothing published here should be presented as medical advice or as a treatment for any condition. ## Classes and events - [Classes](https://jsjinc.net/classes.php): the class schedule, including 5-Day Basic Seminars, Special Topic classes and self help. - [Online Classes](https://jsjinc.net/onlineclasses.php): upcoming classes and gatherings held online.
