# Iri > Iri (Hebrew עירי, “my city”) is a free neighborhood app for Israel. Each of 30+ cities has one feed where neighbors post recommendations, urgent notices, events, second-hand items and local offers — in Hebrew, Russian and English, with every post auto-translated in one tap. Iri is available on iPhone and Android. Kinds of posts: Search, Notification (can be marked urgent: a push to neighbors and 12 hours at the top of the feed), Recommendation, Just to talk, Event, For sale (including free items) and Offer service. Local businesses post offers for free or book a paid sticker at the top of the feed in chosen districts (in the app: Menu → Advertise on Iri). ## Main pages - [For Neighbors](https://iri-app.com) - [For Local Businesses](https://iri-app.com/for-local-business-israel) - [Volunteering](https://iri-app.com/volunteering) - [About](https://iri-app.com/about) - [FAQ](https://iri-app.com/faq) - [Blog](https://iri-app.com/blog-index) ## In Russian - [Соседям](https://iri-app.com/ru) - [Местному бизнесу](https://iri-app.com/ru/for-local-business-israel) - [Волонтёрство](https://iri-app.com/ru/volunteering) - [О нас](https://iri-app.com/ru/about) - [Вопросы](https://iri-app.com/ru/faq) - [Блог](https://iri-app.com/ru/blog-index) ## In Hebrew - [לשכנים](https://iri-app.com/he) - [לעסקים מקומיים](https://iri-app.com/he/for-local-business-israel) - [התנדבות](https://iri-app.com/he/volunteering) - [עלינו](https://iri-app.com/he/about) - [שאלות](https://iri-app.com/he/faq) - [בלוג](https://iri-app.com/he/blog-index) ## Get the app - [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/il/app/iri-your-neighborhood/id6742466931) - [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=iri.app) - Contact: info@iri-app.com ## Questions and answers ### What is Iri? Iri (עירי, “my city”) is a free neighborhood app for Israel. Each city has its own feed where neighbors ask for recommendations, share events and alerts, offer things and talk — in Hebrew, Russian and English. ### Is Iri free? Yes. Iri is free to download and use on iPhone and Android. Local businesses can pay to pin a sticker at the top of a city’s feed; everything else is free. ### Which cities is Iri in? Iri has a feed for more than 30 cities, including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, Rishon LeZion, Netanya, Be’er Sheva, Ashdod and Eilat. If your city is missing, write to info@iri-app.com and tell us. ### What if I can’t find my city? Pick the nearest city for now — you’ll see its feed and the neighbors around you. Then tell us which city you’d like through the Contact page or at info@iri-app.com: new cities open as neighbors ask for them. ### How is Iri different from WhatsApp or Facebook groups? Groups get noisy fast and are hard to search. In Iri every post has a type (a question, an alert, an event…), each city has one feed you can filter, any post translates in a tap, and you don’t share your phone number to take part. ### Can I use Iri in Russian or English? Yes. The app works in Hebrew, Russian and English, and any post can be translated into your language with one tap. ### Do I need to give my phone number? No. You sign in with your email or your Google account. If you sell something or offer a service, you decide whether to add a number. ### How do I report a post? Tap ⋯ on the post and choose Report. Our team reviews every report, and urgent alerts are checked before they are pinned. ### What should I do in an emergency? Always follow the Home Front Command first (oref.org.il). Iri helps with local information from your neighbors, but it is not an official alert system. ### Can I post about my business for free? Yes. Any business can publish an offer in its city’s feed for free: describe what you do, add photos, a price and how to reach you. ### How much does a sticker cost? It depends on the districts and how long it stays — you can pay per hour, per day or per week. Open Menu → Advertise on Iri in the app, choose the reach and describe your campaign, and we’ll send you the options. ### Which businesses can advertise on Iri? Local businesses and independent professionals: home services, cafés and restaurants, beauty and wellness, shops, tutors and professional services, events and activities. ### Can I advertise in several cities or districts? Yes. You choose the districts a sticker appears in — one, several, or a whole city — and you can run it in more than one city. ## Articles - [How to Find the Nearest Shelter in Israel: Official Sources and Local Tips](https://iri-app.com/blog/how-to-find-nearest-shelter-israel): Official shelter maps are essential, but local knowledge helps you understand which protected spaces are open, accessible, and practical in daily life. - [What to Do When a Siren Sounds in Israel](https://iri-app.com/blog/what-to-do-when-a-siren-sounds-in-israel): When a siren sounds, follow official Home Front Command instructions first.
