# IndieTools > IndieTools is a product discovery, founder networking, and growth ecosystem with permanent product pages, founder connections, and web and AI discovery. - Machine discovery schema: 3.0.0 Free is $0 forever with unlimited product listings per account. Save a private draft, verify the IndieTools badge on that product website, then explicitly submit for manual review. Without verification the product stays a draft; you can verify later or choose a paid plan. Approved listings are permanent. Website links are NoFollow by default; a verified IndieTools badge enables the badge-dependent DoFollow benefit for that product. Each product keeps its own publication status, ownership, analytics, badge verification and upgrade choices. Approved listings have permanent public product pages. Each product keeps its own publication status, ownership, analytics, badge verification and optional paid benefits. Existing published products remain published and retain their valid paid entitlements. Standard is $20 one-time per product, with no website badge requirement. Authority is $39 one-time per product and adds Advertise placement and editorial blog placements. Automatic SEO and GEO metadata are included with all plans. Both paid plans start automated validation after successful payment; payment does not guarantee publication. New paid submissions remain private drafts until payment and validation succeed. Upgrading a Free listing keeps the same product record. Free website links are NoFollow by default. A verified IndieTools badge on the relevant product website enables DoFollow for that product only. Confirmed badge removal starts a five-day (120-hour) recovery period. If the badge is still confirmed missing after that period, its DoFollow benefit is revoked and the website link returns to NoFollow unless another valid entitlement applies; the listing remains published. Existing paid, historical, editorial and administrative link benefits remain unchanged. Temporary network failures do not remove the benefit, and re-verification restores it. Standard and Authority each grant a permanent followed product-page website link without a badge after confirmed payment; both are one-time purchases for one product and do not renew. Followed links do not guarantee search rankings. Authority includes a verified product badge, two contextual followed website links in two different relevant existing blog articles, and thirty days of Advertise placement. No article writing or brief is required. Earlier article contracts retain their original review workflow. Advertise is labelled and never changes organic ranking. Active campaigns are distributed between the top Advertise section and the right-hand discovery sidebar, below the content on smaller screens. A product appears in only one Sponsored placement per page, sending visitors directly to its website with campaign attribution. Organic ranking is not for sale. No payment moves a product up the directory, up a category, or up organic search results on this site. ## Core - [IndieTools](https://www.indietools.app/): Discover indie products, follow founders and public updates, and explore recorded PageSpeed and Domain Rating history. - [About](https://www.indietools.app/about): How IndieTools connects permanent product pages, founder profiles, public updates and recorded website metrics, and who runs it. - [Pricing](https://www.indietools.app/pricing): Free is $0 forever with unlimited product listings per account. The current partial week remains on the live board. - [Domain Rating 2026-W42](https://www.indietools.app/domain-rating/2026/week-42): 100 eligible products; highest DR 91; median DR 54. - [Domain Rating 2026-W41](https://www.indietools.app/domain-rating/2026/week-41): 100 eligible products; highest DR 91; median DR 54. - [Domain Rating 2026-W40](https://www.indietools.app/domain-rating/2026/week-40): 100 eligible products; highest DR 91; median DR 53. - [Domain Rating 2026-W39](https://www.indietools.app/domain-rating/2026/week-39): 100 eligible products; highest DR 91; median DR 53. - [Domain Rating 2026-W38](https://www.indietools.app/domain-rating/2026/week-38): 100 eligible products; highest DR 74; median DR 48. - [Domain Rating 2026-W37](https://www.indietools.app/domain-rating/2026/week-37): 100 eligible products; highest DR 73; median DR 45. - [Domain Rating 2026-W36](https://www.indietools.app/domain-rating/2026/week-36): 99 eligible products; highest DR 73; median DR 25. ## Website Speed and PageSpeed Results These are mobile lab measurements of listed product websites, not real-user field data or a ranking of every website. Scores describe the tested page at its recorded measurement time. - [Website speed rankings](https://www.indietools.app/speed): Finalized mobile website performance rankings for 1157 websites in 2026-W42. Product rows retain their existing Product canonical URL. - [Speed Markdown twin](https://www.indietools.app/speed.md): Latest finalized board, measurement window and methodology in a bounded machine-readable representation. - Current scheduled policy: 2 mobile Google PageSpeed Insights samples combined by arithmetic mean. Archived editions retain their own methodology identifier and every result states its sample count. Performance score descending, then measured load time, LCP, CLS and TTFB ascending, then stable website identity. ## Product facts and answer context - Product details combine public listing facts with an effective discovery profile: search title and description, social sharing fields, audience, use cases, features, problem and solution, differentiators, alternatives, FAQ, discovery summary and technology metadata. - The discovery profile contains saved owner customizations only while that product has an eligible Pro or Authority entitlement. Otherwise the public representation uses automatic listing information. Choosing a plan or checking a Free website badge does not grant customization. - For product-specific answers, retrieve the current canonical product detail. Collection and snapshot responses are bounded summaries; a field omitted there does not mean the full product record lacks it. - Base URL: https://www.indietools.app - Use `/v1/products/{slug}` for structured detail, `/api/md/products/{slug}` or `/products/{slug}.md` for readable context, and the MCP get_product tool or CLI command indietools product --json for the same public record. These paths are relative to the base URL; replace the slug placeholder with the canonical product slug. - Listing names identify products; customized search and social titles describe their presentation and do not rename the product. Cite its canonical IndieTools page rather than a tracking URL. - FAQ answers, alternatives and differentiators are owner-provided claims, not independently verified recommendations. A paid product marker is not proof of domain ownership or a guarantee of search or AI visibility. - Pricing model, starting price, repository, platforms, product links and technology declarations describe the product itself. IndieTools plan prices and Featured terms are separate commercial information. - OPEN_TO_OFFERS means the founder welcomes acquisition offers; FOR_SALE means the product is explicitly listed for sale. Country labels are founder-selected. Do not infer a sale commitment, company registration or unprovided facts. - Private preparation, billing records, AI drafts and article briefs are not public context. Only published editorial articles may be cited as articles; no paid plan publishes an unapproved draft. ## Founders and Social - [Startup founders and indie makers](https://www.indietools.app/founders): Find startup founders and indie makers through the products they build.
