# IDEAS For Us

> IDEAS For Us is a 501(c)(3) environmental nonprofit founded in 2008 and based in Orlando, Florida. It develops, funds and scales local environmental action projects across five pillars: energy, water, food, waste and ecology.

IDEAS For Us (also written IDEAS) began in 2008 as a student organization at the University of Central Florida. Its flagship branch is in Orlando, and it lists branches elsewhere in the United States and in other countries. Its main programs are The IDEAS Hive, The IDEAS Solutions Fund, and Eco-Education. Fleet Farming is an urban agriculture program of IDEAS For Us, and Edible Landscapes is a garden installation service of IDEAS For Us. Each has its own external website.
