# Truffle

> Truffle is an AI screening platform for small teams doing high-volume hiring. You decide what each role is screened on, any mix of resume criteria, one-way interview questions and assessments, and Truffle reads every applicant against it and ranks them with the evidence shown. It works with job boards like Indeed or the ATS you already have. Scores never reject anyone; the only automatic rejection is a qualification rule the employer writes. You make every call.

Who Truffle is for: Truffle is for small teams doing high-volume hiring, at the volume that makes reading every applicant impossible. That is whoever does the hiring there: founders, GMs, and franchisees doing it themselves, the one-person people team or in-house recruiter at a small company, and small owner-run staffing and recruiting agencies screening for clients. The line is team size and hiring volume, not job title. Most have no real ATS and fill the same roles over and over. It fits best when a role pulls hundreds of applicants, resumes alone don't tell you enough, and you want to replace the first-round phone screen with structured screening. The roles it screens most are the ones where one posting draws a high volume of resumes that all look alike: sales development reps and account executives, customer success and support reps, account and project coordinators, operations and admin, marketing, finance and bookkeeping, recruiting, and the early-career pipelines that feed them.

It is the screening step, and it runs beside the tools that do the rest: posting, pipeline and offers stay in the job board or ATS (native connections to Ashby, Breezy HR, Workable, Bullhorn, JazzHR, Pinpoint, Recruitee, Teamtailor and Indeed, plus 7,000+ apps through Zapier), and payroll, onboarding and benefits stay in the HRIS. It earns its keep on repeat roles filled at volume. Intake works either way: each job gets an import address you add in a job board's settings, such as Indeed's, so applications flow in and get screened automatically (Truffle's interview invite then reaches Indeed applicants in their Indeed inbox), or it runs next to the ATS you already use. AI surfaces the evidence. You make the hiring decision.
