# hello2morrow > hello2morrow makes software architecture tools. Sonargraph is a static analyzer that checks code against architecture rules and metrics; Zügel is an MCP server that makes AI coding agents respect those rules; ArcTree is an IntelliJ IDEA plugin that visualizes dependencies. The common goal: keep the structure of a codebase clean, and catch architecture violations and cyclic dependencies when they are still cheap to fix. hello2morrow GmbH was founded in 2005 as a self-funded, independent software vendor, with offices in Germany (Munich) and the United States and more than 200 customers worldwide. What sets the tools apart: - Architecture rules are written once in a domain-specific language (the Sonargraph architecture DSL) and enforced everywhere: in the desktop application, in the IDE, on the build server, and for AI coding agents. - Cyclic dependencies are treated as a first-class problem: the tools find cycle groups and compute optimal sets of dependencies to cut to break them up. - Supported languages: Sonargraph handles Java, Kotlin (JVM), C#, Python 3, Go, TypeScript and C/C++; Zügel handles Java, C# and Python; ArcTree handles Java and Kotlin in IntelliJ IDEA. ## Products - [Sonargraph](https://www.hello2morrow.com/products/sonargraph): Static code analysis platform that monitors technical quality and enforces architecture rules, metrics and quality gates in every stage of development. Includes a Groovy-based scripting engine and the architecture DSL. - [Sonargraph-Architect](https://www.hello2morrow.com/products/sonargraph/architect): The main product. A desktop application for dependency visualization, hundreds of metrics, the architecture DSL, virtual refactorings and quality gates. - [Sonargraph-Build](https://www.hello2morrow.com/products/sonargraph/build): Runs on the build server, creates metrics and issue reports, and fails the build when the quality model is violated. - [Sonargraph-Developer](https://www.hello2morrow.com/products/sonargraph/developer): Lets developers check for issues in their IDE before committing. - [Sonargraph-Enterprise](https://www.hello2morrow.com/products/sonargraph/enterprise): Collects daily metrics from all projects so stakeholders see harmful trends early. - [Sonargraph-Explorer](https://www.hello2morrow.com/products/sonargraph/explorer): Free, even for commercial use. Metrics, cycle group detection and simple dependency analysis for Java, Kotlin, Python 3, TypeScript, Go and C#. - [Zügel](https://www.hello2morrow.com/products/zugel): MCP server that teaches a project's architecture to AI coding agents. The agent asks Zügel before adding a dependency; Zügel checks it against the architecture rules and for new cycles, and offers a correct alternative before any code is written. It also exports existing violations for the agent to fix and computes how to break up cycles in legacy code. "Zügel" is German for "rein". - [ArcTree](https://www.hello2morrow.com/products/arctree): IntelliJ IDEA plugin that shows the project as a tree with dependency arcs, laid out to minimize upward dependencies, so cyclic dependencies stand out in red. Useful for navigating large codebases and for checking changes proposed by AI assistants. ## Use cases - [Keeping code and architecture clean](https://www.hello2morrow.com/products/sonargraph/build): Define the intended architecture once and enforce it continuously, in the IDE before commits and as a quality gate on the build server, so structural debt cannot accumulate unnoticed. - [Software assessment](https://www.hello2morrow.com/services): Evaluating the structural quality of a codebase, e.g. before an acquisition, an outsourcing decision or a major investment: architecture violations, cyclic dependencies, metrics, hotspots and technical debt. Available as a tool and as an independent assessment service. - [Software modernization](https://www.hello2morrow.com/products/sonargraph/modernization): Planning and carrying out the modernization of large legacy systems with virtual refactorings, so a target structure can be tried out before any code changes. - [Breaking up a monolith](https://www.hello2morrow.com/videos/breakup): Modularizing a tightly coupled codebase using the architectural view. - [Breaking up cyclic dependencies](https://www.hello2morrow.com/videos/cycleview): Simulating cuts in the interactive cycle view to find the cheapest way to untangle cycle groups. - [Finding hotspots](https://www.hello2morrow.com/videos/hotspots): Combining complexity with change history to find the files most likely to cause problems, so refactoring effort goes where it pays. - [Documenting the architecture](https://www.hello2morrow.com/videos/dsl): The architecture DSL is executable documentation: a model of the intended structure that is checked against the real code, so it never goes stale. - [Monitoring quality across projects](https://www.hello2morrow.com/products/sonargraph/enterprise): Daily metrics from all projects, so management and architects see harmful trends early. - [Understanding unfamiliar code](https://www.hello2morrow.com/products/arctree): Navigating large codebases and onboarding new developers by seeing how the parts depend on each other. - [Guarding AI-generated code](https://www.hello2morrow.com/products/sonargraph/mcp): Zügel keeps AI coding agents within the architecture rules. Every Sonargraph-Architect license includes a free Zügel license. - [Why it pays off](https://www.hello2morrow.com/benefits): Avoiding structural debt reduces the overall cost of a software project by 30% or more. ## Pricing and licenses - [Buy Sonargraph](https://www.hello2morrow.com/buy): Prices and purchase.
