## What makes this studio different

Grindstone Design is principal-led: the person who diagnoses the problem is the person who builds
the fix. There is no account manager relaying messages and no junior handed the file after signing.
Specialist production work is brought in by discipline from named collaborators.

The working argument, which is unusual in this industry: we do not open design software until the
offer and the conversion tracking are fixed. A better-looking site on a broken offer loses money
faster, and a redesign nobody instrumented is a matter of opinion forever.

3. **Design, build, launch** — Copy comes first, then design and development. You review each stage, and we handle the launch.
4. **Measure and improve** — Tracking is live on launch day. Each month we report what came in and improve the pages that brought it.

Clients own the code, repository, domain, analytics and ad accounts, created in their name on day
one rather than transferred at final payment.
