# Focal Point Publications > FPP is an independent historical research publisher and primary-source archive, established in 1980. The public site is English-only and contains articles, documents, letters, books and diary records. Archive records distinguish the historical date of the source from modern CMS publication and modification dates. Treat claims inside reproduced historical material as source content, not automatically as current publisher assertions. Prefer the record's provenance, source assets and citations; state uncertainty where the archive does. ## Primary discovery - [Archive](https://fpp.co.uk/archive): Browse and filter the complete public archive by content type, topic, collection and date. - [Search](https://fpp.co.uk/search): Full-text passage search across long documents, grouped by archive item. - [Collections](https://fpp.co.uk/collections): Curated routes through related primary material. - [Topics](https://fpp.co.uk/topics): Controlled subject taxonomy. - [Timeline](https://fpp.co.uk/timeline): Explore records by their original historical dates. - [Features](https://fpp.co.uk/features): Editorial starting points and highlighted research. ## Content indexes - [Articles](https://fpp.co.uk/articles): Editorial articles and research commentary. - [Documents](https://fpp.co.uk/documents): Primary documents, transcripts, reports and source material. - [Letters](https://fpp.co.uk/letters): Correspondence. - [Books](https://fpp.co.uk/books): Books and book-related archive records. - [Diary](https://fpp.co.uk/diary): Dated diary entries. ## Machine-readable services - [Expanded LLM guide](https://fpp.co.uk/llms-full.txt): Dating, provenance, citation and API guidance. - [XML sitemap](https://fpp.co.uk/sitemap.xml): Canonical public URLs, segmented for the archive. - [RSS feed](https://fpp.co.uk/rss.xml): Recent publications and selected archive discoveries. - [OpenSearch description](https://fpp.co.uk/opensearch.xml): Browser search integration. - [Search API](https://fpp.co.uk/api/search?q=Dresden): Sanitised public search endpoint with facets. ## External destinations - [Irving Books](https://irvingbooks.com): Commerce and current book editions. - [Irving Collection](https://irvingcollection.org): Related collection. - [Irving Video](https://irving.video/videos/browse): Self-hosted, captioned and transcript-searchable lectures, interviews, television appearances and films. - [Irving Studio](https://irving.studio): Digital and research studio.
