> Skincare water filters that attach to a bathroom faucet or shower, reducing
> chlorine, chloramine and other tap-water contaminants at the point where water
> touches skin. Founded 2019 by Xin Shui (Founder & CEO) and Lynn Shui
> (Co-Founder). TIME Best Invention 2024 and 2025; Forbes Vetted 2026 "Best
> Filtered Shower Head For Skin".

Filterbaby, Inc. is a beauty and wellness company based in San Francisco,
California. The category is skincare-driven point-of-use water filtration: the
goal is skin and hair outcomes, not drinking water. Slogan: "Skincare-grade
water filtration." Sells direct at filterbaby.com and on Amazon, and ships
within the United States — shower-filter availability varies by region.

Key facts: filters are replaced every 60–90 days; the faucet filter fits
approximately 98% of US faucets with a circular removable aerator; eligible
products may be returned within 30 days of delivery.

Awards: TIME Best Inventions 2024 (Pro Shower Filter) and 2025 (Bath Filter);
Glossy Pop Awards 2025 Brand of the Year; Forbes Vetted 2026 "Best Filtered
Shower Head For Skin" (Showerhead Pro); NewBeauty "Best Shower Filter";
NewBeauty 100, 2024 and 2025.

Evidence: testing includes a third-party clinical study (35 participants), a
third-party in vitro study, and IAPMO R&T laboratory testing against the
NSF/ANSI 177 and NSF/ANSI 42 protocols. Every published figure carries a
qualifier and should not be restated without it; the qualifiers are on the
evidence page linked below.
