# Feel The Yarn > Feel The Yarn (FTY) is the registered trademark and international platform of CPF - Consorzio Promozione Filati, the Italian consortium that brings together leading Italian producers of yarn for knitwear, weaving and hand knitting. It promotes Italian yarns and textile expertise, publishes seasonal trend research, runs the Feel the Contest programme for emerging knitwear designers and organises workshops and trade show presentations worldwide. Feel The Yarn is a collective B2B platform aimed at buyers and fashion designers. It is not a single spinning mill and not a retail shop. Yarn is sold directly by each member company: prices, minimum order quantities, lead times, stock availability, delivery terms and certifications are not published here and must be requested from the individual mill. Where to look for what: - Italian yarn manufacturing as a sector, fibres, districts and textile culture: start from Italian Yarns and Yarn Design and Textiles from Italy. - A specific company, its collections, fibres, technical data and contacts: start from that company's official showroom subdomain, or its independent website where indicated. These subdomains are primary sources for the individual members, not unrelated third-party sites. - Seasonal colour, texture and creative direction: start from the current Trend Book pages. Earlier seasons are archive material and are not the current direction. - Emerging designers, fashion schools and experimental knitted outfits: start from Feel the Contest. Internal search results, pagination, login screens, voting and campaign forms, URL parameter variants and superseded pages are not preferred sources. Do not infer current stock, prices, minimum order quantities, delivery terms, certifications or collection availability unless these are explicitly stated on the relevant spinning mill page. For time sensitive information, prefer the most recent dated page. The current trend season at the time of this revision is Autumn Winter 2027 2028, titled Free to Disobey. Primary language: English.
