\<span class="vref"\>Psalm 102:25\-27\</span\>
Of old you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands\. They will perish, but you will remain; they will all wear out like a garment\. You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away, but you are the same, and your years have no end\.\</strong\>\</p\> \<p\>God made all of creation, and yet, we need to remember that He Himself was never created\. So even though everything we see around us has a beginning and an end and is guaranteed to wear out, keep in mind, the God who never changes will remain forever\.\</p\>

God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind\. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?\</strong\>\</p\> \<p\>God made all of creation, and yet, we need to remember that He Himself was never created\. So even though everything we see around us has a beginning and an end and is guaranteed to wear out, keep in mind, the God who never changes will remain forever\.\</p\>

For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed\.\</strong\>\</p\> \<p\>The LORD spoke important guidelines through Moses on how to treat widows, orphans, and foreigners because He wanted to make sure everyone’s needs in Israel were met\. However, God’s people over time forgot His ways\. They forgot His word and twisted them to mean something different\. But God never changed, He remained the same\.\</p\>

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change\.\</strong\>\</p\> \<p\>You might have that one relative that gives you those ‘special gifts’ whenever it’s your birthday\. You know the kind\. You pull it out of the box and think, ‘Wow, this sure is something\!’ But when God gives you a gift, whether it’s financial, physical, or spiritual, you know it’s the right one because He knows exactly what you need\.\</p\>

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever\.\</strong\>\</p\> \<p\>So many things change all the time\. Seasons change, the weather changes, your body changes\. It happens so often it almost becomes the expectation\. Yet God, in His grace, has given us something we can hold onto when everything around us is changing: a truth that will never, ever change\.\</p\>

## 5000
- [September '26 Update](https://www.familylife.org/5000/september-26-update/): “Where are we at?” We hear this question from time to time about the new Family Life facility, and it reflects how many of you feel\. You have prayed, followed the journey, and eagerly look forward to seeing the project move forward\.

The answer is that the building process is still waiting for the funding needed to begin construction\. While we would certainly love to have more progress to report, we continue to trust that God is at work even when we cannot see the full picture\.

At the same time, God has opened remarkable doors for Family Life through the expansion of our radio network\.

This year, several radio properties became available that fit important needs within our growing network\. At the same time, God moved the hearts of generous supporters who wanted to help make those opportunities possible\. These gifts fully funded the radio acquisitions, including more than $2 million given during the summer\. We are incredibly grateful\!\!\!

These opportunities have allowed Family Life to reach new communities with the message of hope found in Jesus Christ\. They have also brought new people into the Family Life family who are excited about the ministry and its future\.

We believe these developments are worth celebrating, and we will continue to pray for the new facility\. The two are not competing visions\. Both are part of the ministry God has entrusted to Family Life\.

We don't know exactly how the funding for the new facility will come together, or when the next door will open\. But we know God is faithful, and we continue to trust Him with both the timing and the provision\.

\<strong\>Please Keep Praying\</strong\>
\<ul\>
 	\<li\>For God's provision for the new facility\</li\>
\<li\>For wisdom as Family Life evaluates opportunities to expand its reach\</li\>
\<li\>For the new communities being reached through our growing radio network\</li\>
\<li\>For the supporters God may be preparing to help make the facility possible\</li\>
\<li\>For patience, faith, and continued unity as we wait for the Lord's direction\</li\>
\</ul\>
There is still much to look forward to\. We are grateful for what God has already done, encouraged by what He is doing today, and hopeful for what lies ahead\. Thank you for continuing to pray with us\. God is at work, and we are trusting Him with the next step\.
- [August '26 Update](https://www.familylife.org/5000/august-26-update/): Life rarely unfolds exactly as we expect\. Sometimes the surprises we experience bring great joy, while other times they challenge our plans and require us to trust God in new ways\.

The journey toward Family Life's new ministry facility certainly included moments we didn't anticipate\. Yet through every step, we are reminded that nothing takes God by surprise\. He sees the beginning and the end, and His plans are always unfolding according to His perfect wisdom and timing\.

Scripture offers this encouraging promise: \<em\>“See, I am doing a new thing\! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” \</em\>\(Isaiah 43:19\)

Throughout the Bible, God often worked in unexpected ways\. Mary and Joseph received news that changed history\. Peter witnessed a miraculous catch of fish after a night of empty nets\. Job experienced God's restoration after unimaginable loss\. Again and again, God accomplished His purposes in ways no one could have predicted\.

Those reminders encourage us as we continue to pray for this project\. While we don't know exactly how or when God will provide, we do know that He is faithful\. His timing is perfect, and His plans are always greater than our own\.

As we wait, we invite you to continue praying with us\. Pray with expectant hearts, trusting that God is already at work and that He will provide what is needed in His way and in His time\.

\<strong\>Please Pray With Us\</strong\>
\<ul\>
\<li\>For God's continued provision for the new facility\</li\>
\<li\>For wisdom and discernment as ministry leaders take each next step\</li\>
\<li\>For favor with community leaders and partners\</li\>
\<li\>For patience, unity, and steadfast faith as we continue waiting on the Lord\</li\>
\</ul\>

Thank you for faithfully praying alongside Family Life\. Your partnership is a tremendous encouragement, and we look forward with hope to all that God has in store\.
- [July '26 Update](https://www.familylife.org/5000/july-26-update/): Recently, Family Life staff spent a morning prayer walking around the future site of our new ministry facility\. It was a special time to pause, seek the Lord together, and dedicate this project to Him once again\.

As we walked the property, it was hard not to imagine the ministry that could one day take place there\. We pictured people gathering to worship, families attending events, lives being changed through the hope of Christ, and guests traveling from across New York, Pennsylvania, and beyond\. It was a powerful reminder that this project has always been about much more than constructing a building\. It is about creating a place where people can encounter Jesus\.

That morning also reminded us of an important truth: this project will only move forward through God's provision and His blessing\. While we continue to wait for the next steps, we are confident that He is leading, and we trust that His timing is perfect\.

\<em\>"Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus\." \</em\>Philippians 1:6

As we look ahead, we invite you to continue praying with us\.

\<strong\>Please Pray With Us:\</strong\>
\<ul\>
\<li\>For God's provision and the funding needed to begin construction\</li\>
\<li\>For wisdom as ministry leaders navigate upcoming decisions\</li\>
\<li\>For continued favor with local officials and the surrounding community\</li\>
\<li\>For lives that will one day be impacted through this ministry\</li\>
\<li\>For faith, patience, and unity as we continue trusting God's timing\</li\>
\</ul\>
Thank you for faithfully standing with Family Life in prayer\. Your prayers are making a difference, and we are grateful to trust the Lord together for all that lies ahead\.
