# EZGlot

> EZGlot maps the words that languages share. Built from a graph of 350+ million translation relations across ~90 languages, it shows which foreign words you already know: cognates and borrowings with meaning similarity, lexical-similarity rankings between languages, frequency lists, vocabulary tests, word games, and bilingual learning books built entirely from shared vocabulary.

Key facts: ~90 languages; data mined from Wiktionary, OmegaWiki, FreeDict, Apertium, Wikipedia and other open resources; custom graph analysis and a published lexical-similarity measure (cited in peer-reviewed research). Languages are identified by ISO-639-3 codes in URL parameters (l = language, l2 = second language, w = word, lang = interface language). Code gotchas: Serbian is `hbs` (not srp), Mandarin is `cmn` (not zho), Norwegian Bokmål is `nob`. All URLs are extensionless (.php variants redirect).
