# Erigon Technologies

> Erigon Technologies AG is a Swiss blockchain engineering company building zero-knowledge proof infrastructure for Ethereum. The team develops Zilkworm (a ZK validity proof generator for Ethereum blocks), Cocoon (an enterprise ZK chain for regulated financial institutions), and maintains the Erigon Ethereum execution client — one of the major open-source Ethereum clients contributing to client diversity.

Erigon Technologies AG is headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, with approximately 25 engineers distributed across 12 countries. The company's product thesis is "private execution, public verification" — using zero-knowledge proofs to let banks and financial institutions settle transactions privately while anchoring cryptographic verification to Ethereum. Alongside the commercial product line, the team continues to maintain and develop the open-source Erigon execution client and contributes to Ethereum research in collaboration with the Ethereum Foundation, Gnosis Chain, and Shutter Network.
