# Endstep > Endstep (https://endstep.cc) is a free, browser-based online table for playing > Magic: The Gathering. Draft a cube, build a deck, and play real games against > people or bots, one-on-one or in three- and four-player pods. Nothing to > install, no card collection to buy, no paid tier. Endstep is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Wizards of the Coast Fan Content Policy. It is not approved, endorsed by, or affiliated with Wizards of the Coast. Magic: The Gathering and all related properties are © Wizards of the Coast LLC. ## What it is Games resolve through [Forge](https://github.com/Card-Forge/forge), the open-source Magic rules engine, running headless on the server. The browser displays what the engine reports and sends back the player's choices; it holds no rules logic of its own. The card pool is roughly 94,000 cards: the engine's full pool, not a curated subset. Everything is free. Development and hosting cost both time and money, so a Patreon exists for people who want to help; it grants a name treatment and a vote on the roadmap, and deliberately grants no gameplay advantage, no exclusive art, and no queue priority. ## Pages - [About](https://endstep.cc/about): what Endstep is, how it works, what it costs, and a FAQ. - [Formats](https://endstep.cc/formats): the full list of supported formats, including constructed, cube draft, set draft and sealed. - [Changelog](https://endstep.cc/changelog): every shipped update, newest first, generated from the same source as the in-app "What's New" panel. ## Formats we uniquely support These are the pages most likely to be useful, because these formats are hard or impossible to play anywhere else online: - [Momir Basic](https://endstep.cc/formats/momir-basic): no deckbuilding. Sixty basic lands and the Momir Vig avatar in the command zone; `{X}, Discard a card` makes a token copy of a random creature with mana value X. - [Winston draft](https://endstep.cc/formats/winston-draft): the two-player draft. Three piles seeded from a shuffled stack; take a pile, or pass and feed it a card before looking at the next. - [Richman draft](https://endstep.cc/formats/richman-draft): two players, a fifteen-card pack each, one simultaneous pick per round over 36 rounds. Every unpicked card is reshuffled back into the shared pool. - [Shared Library / Forgetful Fish](https://endstep.cc/formats/shared-library): both players draw and cast from one shared library and share a graveyard. Hand, battlefield and exile stay private. The player who draws from an empty library is the one who loses. - [Multiplayer pods](https://endstep.cc/formats/multiplayer-pods): three and four seats at one table, free-for-all or in teams, with bots available for any unclaimed seat and attacker-first combat targeting. ## Also supported Constructed against the engine's own format catalogue (Vintage, Legacy, Modern, Pioneer, Standard, Pauper, Commander, and a no-banlist casual mode), cube building and drafting with CubeCobra import, set draft and sealed, best-of-three with parallel sideboarding, spectating, and full phone and tablet support. ## Not indexable The application itself is behind authentication. Game, lobby, draft, deck and profile routes hold no public content and are excluded in [robots.txt](https://endstep.cc/robots.txt).
