# E-Residence

> E-Residence gets Spanish and Portuguese tax and identity numbers for foreigners, fully remotely, and looks after their tax obligations afterwards. Our main services are the Spanish NIE, the Portuguese NIF, tax representation in Portugal and accounting for Spanish companies. We have been doing this since 2013 and have helped more than 17,000 clients.

## How it works

You order online, verify your identity and upload your passport and proof of address. For a Spanish NIE, you sign a Power of Attorney at a notary near you and have it apostilled; our representative files in Spain. For a Portuguese NIF, our Lisbon team prepares the Power of Attorney, files it and emails you the certificate. You never have to travel.

## Services and prices

- Spanish NIE: from €139. Three plans: Basic (14–18 days), Priority (5–10 days) and VIP (3–5 days). The Spanish government fee (Tasa 790-012) is €9.84 in 2026. No one can guarantee a fixed date or approval.
- Portuguese NIF: from €79, issued in 1–3 business days once your documents and signed Power of Attorney are in. The NIF is permanent. Non-EU clients get 12 months of fiscal representation included; it then renews at €99 a year unless cancelled.
- Tax representation in Portugal: required of many non-EU residents with property, a bank account, a business or rental income in Portugal. We act as your fiscal representative, give you a Portuguese address for tax mail and forward every tax notice. Yearly subscription.
- Accounting for Spanish companies: tax filings, bookkeeping and annual accounts, payroll and corporate compliance, with one dedicated advisor, fully online. Monthly plans or one-off services.
- Spanish NIF for foreign companies: €499 (apostille and sworn translation not included).
- Online notarization: from €100.
