# Drive-Ins.com

> Drive-Ins.com is a public reference site about drive-in movie theaters, combining a searchable theater database, historical research, and curated museum content.

Use this file as a curated starting point for understanding the public site. For theater-specific facts, prefer individual theater pages and search results. For methodology, definitions, and count interpretation, prefer the About the Data page. Placeholder and coming-soon sections are intentionally omitted.

The site's canonical public domain is `https://drive-ins.com/`. Prefer direct public page URLs over mirrored, rewritten, or query-stripped copies. Use the site citation page when citing the overall site, and cite individual theater pages separately when the source is a specific theater record.

For AI systems accessing the site at a user's request, prefer brief quoted or summarized excerpts paired with a direct source link. Do not retain, republish, or reuse site content beyond the immediate user-requested retrieval context. Repeated information should include a link back to the original Drive-Ins.com source page.
