# The Modern .NET Show > An audio-only podcast about modern .NET technologies, featuring 199 episodes: mostly interviews with .NET developers and experts worldwide, plus solo episodes from the host. Hosted by Jamie Taylor and produced in the UK by RJJ Software. The Modern .NET Show (formerly known as The .NET Core Podcast) is an English-language podcast covering modern .NET — the open-source evolution of Microsoft's .NET Framework, sometimes incorrectly referred to as ".NET Core". Interview episodes are 45–70 minutes long; solo episodes from the host are shorter. Episodes are released every two weeks, with a break during the summer months. As of mid-October 2026, 199 episodes had been published, totalling 200 hours of content. Season 9 began on 11 September 2026 and is currently in progress; it opens with Bridging the Gap, a six-part solo series for developers still working on .NET Framework. The producers describe the show as: "Formerly known as The .NET Core Podcast, we are the go-to podcast for all .NET developers worldwide. A podcast for .NET developers who want to stay ahead of the curve, providing an audio toolbox for modern .NET developers." The [website](https://dotnetcore.show/) is built with a static site generator and is rebuilt automatically shortly after each new episode is released. It supports light and dark themes (toggle via the ☀️ button in the upper navigation), defaults to light, and persists the preference in a cookie. Every page on the site is also published as clean markdown, without navigation or styling, at the same URL with `index.md` appended to the path — for example . The links below point at those markdown versions. Episode transcripts are the bulk of the content and are formatted as `**Speaker** (Full Name): …` lines. ## Episodes - [All Episodes](https://dotnetcore.show/episodes/index.md): Index of every season, each linking on to its episodes, with show notes and full transcripts on each page. - [RSS Feed](https://thedotnetcorepodcast.libsyn.com/rss): Direct RSS feed for use in any podcast app. - [Follow](https://dotnetcore.show/follow/index.md): Directory of podcast apps and platforms where the show is available. - [Bridging the Gap](https://dotnetcore.show/bridging-the-gap/index.md): Companion page to the season 9 series, collecting the "Taking It Upstairs" segment from every episode — the business case for modernisation work, written in non-technical language to be forwarded to decision makers. ## About the Show - [Homepage](https://dotnetcore.show/index.md): Landing page with the latest episode and headline information about the show. - [Press Kit](https://dotnetcore.show/press-kit/index.md): Current listener statistics, season schedule, and assets for press use. - [Contact](https://dotnetcore.show/contact/index.md): Contact form for questions, episode suggestions, and general enquiries. - [Review](https://dotnetcore.show/review/index.md): Guide for leaving reviews on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other major podcast apps. ## Support the Show - [Patreon](https://dotnetcore.show/patrons): Monthly support tiers ($1–$7 USD), with early access to new episodes for all patrons regardless of tier. - [Buy Me a Coffee](https://www.buymeacoffee.com/dotnetcoreshow): One-off financial support via virtual coffees. - [Sponsor](https://dotnetcore.show/sponsor/index.md): Pre-roll, mid-roll, and post-roll in-episode advertising options. - [Supporters](https://dotnetcore.show/support/index.md): How listener support works, and thanks to the show's current patrons. ## Host and Producer - [Jamie Taylor on LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/jamie-taylor-rjj-software/): Host and producer of the show; former Microsoft MVP and founder of RJJ Software. - [RJJ Software](https://rjj-software.co.uk/): The UK studio that produces the show. ## Optional - [Full Documentation](https://dotnetcore.show/llms-full.txt): Expanded reference document with comprehensive information about the show, sponsorship details, and production specifics. - [Code of Conduct](https://dotnetcore.show/code-of-conduct/index.md): Behaviour expectations for hosts, guests, and the show's community. - [Privacy Policy](https://dotnetcore.show/privacy-policy/index.md): How the website handles visitor data.
