ASCCP guidelines recommend a hysterectomy as the first-line treatment for CIN3 CIN1 has the same risk of progression as CIN3 CIN2 must go directly to LEEP without any observation period CIN2 may qualify for observation (wait-and-see for six months) especially in women under 30 who want to preserve fertility Correct! Incorrect - Dr. Doni walks through the ASCCP guidelines in detail in the certification session. ASCCP stands for American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, and it produces the standard screening and treatment guidelines used by gynecologists. Their $14.99 app allows practitioners to input patient data and receive a risk-based treatment recommendation. Dr. Doni’s key clinical nuances: CIN1 carries less than 8% risk of progressing to CIN3 within two years — which she frames not as a reason to do nothing, but as a reason to take action with the protocol while time is available. CIN2 may qualify for observation (recheck in six months) rather than immediate LEEP, especially when the abnormal cells are only on the face of the cervix and the patient is under 30 or wants to preserve fertility. Hysterectomy is explicitly stated as unacceptable as a first-line treatment for CIN3 in current guidelines — even though Dr. Doni still hears doctors recommending it. LEEP is the standard first approach for CIN3. Perhaps most importantly, she underscores that standard care — including procedures — never addresses the virus, only the abnormal cells. This is why dysplasia recurs within 6–12 months after LEEP for a significant number of women: the virus remains and keeps causing new abnormal cells. Escharotics are an appropriate consideration for what degree of severity of cervical dysplasia? Escharotics are appropriate for all CIN grades including CIN1 and carcinoma in situ Escharotics are appropriate for CIN2 through mild-to-moderate CIN3, but NOT for CIN1 (where suppositories alone may be enough) and NOT for in situ or carcinoma (where a procedure is indicated). Escharotics are indicated after carcinoma in situ is confirmed Escharotics are only appropriate for CIN2 Correct! Incorrect - Dr. Doni is precise about the escharotics window: it is appropriate for CIN2 through mild-to-moderate CIN3 as an alternative to LEEP, giving women a chance to avoid a procedure. She explicitly states she would NOT use escharotics for CIN1 (vaginal suppositories alone are sufficient at that grade) and would NOT use escharotics for carcinoma in situ or cancer (surgical intervention is necessary). Even within the escharotics window, she sets a tight timeline: she wants the patient to complete escharotics and be rechecked by colposcopy within three to four months, not six. For women who are afraid to have a colposcopy, what is the recommendation: They should avoid all further procedures entirely Tell women that the only option is to “wait and see” what the colposcopy results show. Help women to feel supported and informed. Explain the appropriate indication for a colposcopy, as well as the risks, and what she can do to support herself through the procedure. Discuss a clear plan of action to address HPV from now until their next recheck. Women who are afraid of a colposcopy can wait 12 months before going back to the gynecologist regardless of their prior results. Correct! Incorrect - When a woman with prior CIN2/3 is afraid to return for a colposcopy due to a painful prior experience, Dr. Doni’s approach is multifaceted: first, create a plan so the woman is no longer floating in fear without direction; second, ensure she is informed about her risk level and why the recheck matters; third, if more than six months has passed since the prior colposcopy with no treatment, insist on a new colposcopy before proceeding with escharotics so the current severity is known. She also suggests that sometimes changing to a different doctor entirely gives a woman a fresh, less traumatic experience. In Dr. Doni’s HPV Protocol, what is the suggestion regarding supplement dosing after receiving a negative HPV result? After the first negative result, all supplements should be stopped immediately; recurrence only happens in women who never followed the protocol Dr. Doni recommends gradually tapering doses rather than stopping abruptly — for example, reducing folate from 10mg to 5mg, vitamin A from 100,000 to 50,000 IU, vitamin C by 50%, and CCDG (curcumin, Coriolis, green tea, DIM) from three to two capsules per day. The multivitamin is maintained. The maintenance phase involves continuing all the same supplement doses to ensure the virus does not return Once HPV is negative, women need to stop taking vitamin D due to risk of toxicity. Women should change folate to folic acid, and start taking extra mushroom extract. Correct! Incorrect - Dr. Doni frames the maintenance phase as a gradual taper rather than an abrupt stop. The key clinical rule: aim for two consecutive negative results before significantly reducing doses, and reduce gradually rather than stopping overnight. Her specific dose reduction examples: methylfolate from 10mg to 5mg; vitamin A from 100,000 IU to 50,000 IU; vitamin C by 50%; CCDG from 3 to 2 capsules per day. The multivitamin, vitamin D, and any supplement still tied to a blood work finding (e.g., iron if anemia remains, adrenal support if cortisol is still low) are maintained at their current doses and individualized. Psychoneuroendocrinology explains that systems in the body are interconnected and affect each other. Dr. Doni shared a diagram from her book, The Stress Remedy, showing how she uses psychoneuroendocrinology to support healing. What are the four systems and what is the best description of how they relate to each other? The four systems are immune, digestion, metabolic, and brain. They operate independently and should each be treated in isolation. Hormones, like estrogen and progesterone, are related to the nervous system. And the digestion is related to the immune system. The four systems are hormones, digestion, immune system, and nervous system. They are all interconnected and affect each other. They can and often should be addressed simultaneously. The systems are stress system, immune system, microbiome, and mitochondria. It is best to start by addressing the mitochondria, and then the microbiome, before addressing the stress system. Correct! Incorrect - In the live group session, Dr. Doni showed the stress-body systems diagram from her Stress Remedy book, which depicts four interconnected systems: the endocrine/hormonal system (estrogen, progesterone, thyroid), the digestive system, the immune system, and the nervous system — with bidirectional arrows showing that each affects all the others. The clinical implication: you can and often should work on more than one system at a time, because they are synergistic. Dr. Doni warns explicitly that women who stop all diet changes and supplements abruptly after they receive their first negative HPV result are highly likely to have the HPV reactivate, because the virus may still be latent and reactivate when the person’s susceptibilities recur. True False Correct! Incorrect - The critical warning: she has seen women who, after getting their first negative result, either stopped all supplements abruptly or reverted completely to their old diet — and the HPV returned within two months. She explains that the virus can persist in latency and reactivates when the body's susceptibilities return. The image she uses: a woman in a car accident stops everything — and recurrence follows. The solution is to frame it as "we got the first negative; now let's work toward the second." Both a LEEP and cold knife or conization procedures carry an increased risk of preterm labor in future pregnancies — a risk that increases further with more invasive procedures. This is an important consideration for women of childbearing age when deciding between a LEEP, escharotics, or observation. True False Correct! Incorrect - Dr. Doni covers LEEP risks explicitly in the certification session. She states that research now shows increased risk of preterm labor in future pregnancies after LEEP, and that this risk increases further with cold knife conization and laser conization (the more tissue removed, the higher the risk). She contrasts this with escharotics, which do not carry this fertility risk, making escharotics a meaningful consideration for women who may want to become pregnant. During pregnancy, neither LEEP nor escharotics should be performed, and the goal is to support healing through pregnancy and recheck six weeks postpartum. True False Correct! Incorrect - Dr. Doni specifically addresses pregnancy: during pregnancy, neither LEEP nor escharotics is performed. Instead, the goal is to do everything possible with supplements, diet, and the protocol to support healing through the pregnancy, and then recheck with a new Pap and colposcopy approximately six weeks after delivery. She even mentions a current patient in this situation — still pregnant at the time of the session — with the outcome unknown. This framing gives practitioners language for how to manage HPV cases that arise during pregnancy. Clearing HPV usually happens quickly for everyone — typically within 90 days — and that women who do not reach HPV negative within 90 days are not following the protocol correctly. True False Correct! Incorrect - Dr. Doni explicitly states the opposite of what this question claims about timing and compliance. She tells participants clearly that clearing HPV in 90 days is possible but not common — she has seen it happen, but it is the exception rather than the rule. More typically, participants are making progress within three to six months, with further improvement in the next six months, and full clearance potentially taking longer — especially for those who started at a more severe grade (CIN3, five-year persistent cases). She also explicitly rejects the idea that not clearing by week 12 means the protocol is being followed incorrectly. Her message is the opposite: if the results are not yet where you want them, it is information — a signal that there may be additional susceptibilities to uncover or additional steps to add — not evidence of failure. She uses curiosity-not-judgment language: "Your body is telling you what it needs. What haven't we tried yet?" You scored 44%, and did not pass the quiz. Which of the following correctly describes the recommended recheck timeline? HPV only (no abnormal cells): recheck in 3 months; ASCUS: recheck in 3 months; CIN 1: recheck in 6 months; CIN 2/3: recheck in 1 year It is recommended to use the ASCCP app to determine recommended screening. The more severe the abnormal cells, the more important it is to follow up sooner. All severities recheck in 6 months regardless of degree of abnormality The recheck timing is set entirely by the gynecologist and practitioners should never advise patients about it Correct! Incorrect - Dr. Doni walks through the recheck timeline explicitly in the Module 11 video, anchoring it to severity: HPV positive with no abnormal cells — the doctor will often say come back in a year. ASCUS — recheck in six months or a year. CIN 1 — more likely a six-month recheck. CIN 2/3 — sometimes as soon as three months. She also introduces an important practical tool: if the waiting period feels too long and a patient wants to know sooner whether they are making progress, they can do a home HPV test between their scheduled appointments, since doctors rarely retest sooner unless they are tracking treatment outcomes. Dr. Doni frames each recheck as an opportunity to evaluate effectiveness, not a moment for judgment. Dr. Doni describes methylation as the 'B vitamin cycle' and explains what SAM does and why homocysteine matters. In the live session, she expanded on this using a gear analogy. Which of the following BEST captures her full explanation of how methylation works, what disrupts it, and how to detect a problem? Methylation is a one-time process where folate is converted to B12; SAM has no known function; homocysteine should always be as low as possible regardless of dose Methylation is the B vitamin cycle — a constantly turning gear where all B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, folate, B12), plus cofactors like magnesium and zinc, work together to produce SAM. SAM protects DNA, makes new healthy cells (including on the cervix), makes and breaks down neurotransmitters like serotonin and adrenaline, and clears histamine. The cycle produces homocysteine as a measurable byproduct — target level is approximately 7. Above 7 (especially above 15) means more folate, B12, and B6 are needed; too low means the person is taking too much. The cycle gets jammed by stress, inflammation, toxins, alcohol, gut bacteria toxins (LPS), and nutrient deficiencies — and if jammed, a person reacts badly (headache, anxiety) when trying to take methylfolate Methylation only requires folate to function; the target homocysteine is above 15; stress has no effect on the methylation cycle SAM is made only in the liver and has no connection to cervical cell health; homocysteine cannot be measured in standard blood work Correct! Incorrect - Dr. Doni introduces methylation as the B vitamin cycle in the Module 11 video and uses the spinning circle analogy: folate and B12 come together at the bottom of the circle, spin around to create SAM (S-adenosylmethionine), which circles around to produce homocysteine. SAM is the active producer in the cycle — it protects DNA, makes new healthy cells (including on the cervix), makes and breaks down neurotransmitters (serotonin, adrenaline), and clears histamine. Homocysteine is the measurable output: target of approximately 7; above 7 or 15 means more support needed; below 7 means too much is being taken. In the live session, Dr. Doni deepened this with the gear analogy: the methylation cycle is like constantly turning gears in every cell, requiring all B vitamins plus mineral cofactors (magnesium, zinc) to keep turning. When jammed by stress, inflammation, toxins, alcohol, gut-derived LPS, or nutrient deficiencies, the gears stop, SAM stops being produced, and healthy cell formation, neurotransmitter balance, and detoxification all deteriorate. A key clinical signal that methylation is jammed: the patient gets a headache or feels worse when taking methylfolate. In the module video, Dr. Doni discusses MTHFR gene variations (SNPs), the two variants she mentions by number, the difference between heterozygous and homozygous, and her practical treatment recommendation for everyone regardless of whether they have been tested. Which answer BEST captures all of these points? MTHFR 1298 is more impactful than 677; being heterozygous (two copies) is more severe than homozygous (one copy); she recommends folic acid for everyone since it is widely available MTHFR is a gene that governs conversion of folic acid into active folate. The two variants are 677 and 1298 — with 677 being more impactful than 1298. Heterozygous means one copy of the variation (one strand affected); homozygous means two copies (both strands affected) — and two copies creates a more likely traffic jam in folate metabolism. Because testing is not universal, Dr. Doni recommends giving methylfolate (5-MTHF, the active form) to everyone rather than folic acid, since this bypasses the MTHFR gene variation whether or not it is present — and since the having an abnormal Pap smear itself raises the question of whether MTHFR may be involved MTHFR has only one variant (677) and it only affects people with two copies; homozygous means one strand is affected; folic acid is the preferred supplement because it is better absorbed MTHFR gene variations are irrelevant to HPV and Dr. Doni does not address them in the protocol Correct! Incorrect - In the Module 11 video, Dr. Doni explains that MTHFR is a gene responsible for converting folic acid into active folate. She identifies two variants: 677 and 1298 — and specifies that 677 is more clinically impactful than 1298. Heterozygous means one copy of the variation on one strand of the gene; homozygous means both strands carry the variation and is more likely to create a metabolic traffic jam. Because most people have not been tested, Dr. Doni’s practical approach is to give methylfolate (also called 5-MTHF or active folate) to everyone — not folic acid — because methylfolate bypasses the MTHFR conversion step entirely, working whether or not the gene variation is present. She reasons that since having an abnormal Pap smear itself raises the question of possible MTHFR involvement, it makes sense to simply address it preemptively for all patients. In the live session, Dr. Doni explained the anatomy of the cervix and exactly where and how the HPV virus attacks — including the specific viral genome sequences that make it so dangerous. Which answer BEST captures her explanation of the transformation zone, the viral genome, and what happens as CIN progresses from 1 to 3? The transformation zone is where columnar cells meet the uterine lining; the E6/E7 viral sequences help the immune system detect the virus; at CIN 3 the virus is still replicating alongside healthy cells and has not yet integrated into DNA The squamocolumnar junction is where squamous cells (stacked, flat, on the face of the cervix) meet columnar cells (single-layer, rectangular, lining the endocervical canal). The transformation zone, which varies in length and position between women, is exactly where this cell type change occurs — and where HPV preferentially attacks. At CIN 1, the virus replicates alongside healthy cells, with surface cells still appearing normal. At CIN 2/3, the virus has integrated itself into the human cell’s DNA and has taken over replication. The E5 sequence allows the virus to hide from the immune system (including the Langerhans immune cells resident in the squamous lining), while E6/E7 decreases normal cell death (apoptosis) and accelerates replication, driving progression toward tumor-like behavior. The virus is not hiding from a biopsy — only from the immune system The transformation zone is inside the uterus and cannot be reached by biopsy; HPV attacks columnar cells only; at CIN 1 the virus has already fully integrated into DNA The Langerhans cells in the squamous lining promote HPV replication; E5 increases apoptosis; E6/E7 has no role in immune evasion Correct! Incorrect - In the live session, Dr. Doni walked through detailed cervical anatomy. The face of the cervix is covered by stratified squamous cells (stacked, flat, brick-like). Inside the endocervical canal are columnar cells (single layer, rectangular). The squamocolumnar junction is where these two cell types meet. The transformation zone is the region of cell-type transition, and it varies in position between women — it may be visible on the face of the cervix (called ectropion), entirely inside the opening, or both. This transformation zone is where HPV preferentially attacks because the cell type is changing and the tissue is more vulnerable. At CIN 1, the virus is replicating alongside healthy cells; surface cells can still look normal, but basal cells are affected. By CIN 2/3, the virus has integrated itself into the human cell’s DNA and is running replication. The E5 segment of the viral genome enables the virus to hide from the immune system — specifically from the Langerhans cells residing in the squamous lining — by preventing infected cells from presenting themselves to the immune system. The E6/E7 segments decrease apoptosis (normal cell death) and accelerate replication, driving the process toward tumor-like behavior. Critically, while the virus hides from the immune system, it does not hide from acetic acid applied during colposcopy or from microscopic biopsy analysis. In the live session, Dr. Doni worked through a limiting beliefs exercise live with participant Elia, who was feeling shame and frustration after her HPV was still positive at 9–10 weeks of implementing the protocol. What limiting belief was identified, how was it traced, what loving replacement statement was chosen, and how did Elia feel after the process? Elia’s limiting belief was 'I am not disciplined enough'; it was traced to a college experience; the replacement statement was 'I always follow through'; she reported feeling more motivated Elia identified the limiting belief 'nothing ever works for me' (or nothing works for me). Traced back to age 7 or 8, she recalled feeling deeply insecure — never feeling good enough or perfect, always internally beating herself up — a pattern that began in childhood (without her parents imposing those expectations) and carried into adult life. Dr. Doni guided her to a loving replacement statement: 'I am perfect the way I am' — a statement of self-acceptance that felt warm and right to Elia. She paired it with deep breathing, and at the end of the process she reported that the heaviness had lifted and things felt lighter. Dr. Doni explained that repeating the loving statement creates new neural pathways, and that the process often unfolds in phases Elia’s limiting belief was 'HPV will always be with me'; it was traced to a traumatic medical appointment; the replacement statement was 'my body knows how to heal'; she felt completely free of the belief immediately The limiting belief process was not completed because Elia was not ready to share; Dr. Doni deferred the exercise to the next session Correct! Incorrect - The limiting beliefs exercise in Module 11 was conducted live with participant Elia, who had recently learned her HPV was still positive after approximately 9–10 weeks of implementing the protocol, and was feeling shame, frustration, and a sense that nothing ever works. Dr. Doni guided her to identify the core belief: ‘nothing ever works for me.’ She then invited Elia to trace it back in time — Elia recalled feeling that way as a child around age seven or eight, experiencing deep insecurity and never feeling good enough or perfect. This pattern had not been imposed by her parents; it arose internally and persisted through adolescence and into adult life. Dr. Doni guided her to craft a loving replacement statement — ‘I am perfect the way I am’ — which resonated immediately as a statement of self-acceptance. The suggested action was deep breathing with hand on heart while repeating the statement. Elia reported at the end that the heaviness had lifted and things felt lighter. Dr. Doni explained that the shift would happen in phases: this self-acceptance was the first step, and later the belief might evolve toward ‘things work out for me.’ Other participants in the group resonated with the process. In the Module 11 video, Dr. Doni explains the adrenal sequencing protocol as follows: first support calming neurotransmitters (serotonin and GABA) with Calming Support, then decrease high stimulating neurotransmitters/adrenaline, and only after things are calmer add Adrenal Support (which contains nutrients and herbs to support cortisol and adrenaline production) — starting with one capsule in the morning with food and observing whether it produces good energy or overstimulation True False Correct! Incorrect - Dr. Doni lays out the adrenal sequencing protocol clearly in Module 11. Step one is always calming support first — supporting serotonin and GABA with the product called Calming Support, especially if those neurotransmitters are too low. Step two is Stress Support, which decreases high adrenaline (the stimulating neurotransmitter). Only after the system has calmed down does she add step three: Adrenal Support, which contains herbs and nutrients to help the adrenal glands produce cortisol and adrenaline when they are depleted. She always recommends starting with one capsule in the morning with food — because adrenal support is energizing and is best taken earlier in the day. If the adrenal support causes overstimulation, it is a signal that more calming is needed before proceeding. Dr. Doni states in the module video that once the HPV has gone negative and cells are normal, patients must continue all protocol supplements indefinitely at full dose — and that there is no maintenance phase or possibility of reducing doses over time. True False Correct! Incorrect - Dr. Doni explicitly teaches the opposite in the Module 11 video. Once HPV goes negative and cells normalize, the goal is to transition to a maintenance protocol — which is a gradual reduction in doses, not continuation at full dose forever. She describes maintenance as including the self-care basics (clean eating, sleep, stress recovery, exercise) and ongoing support for whatever the body still needs — such as continued neurotransmitter or adrenal support if relevant, and a basic foundation of a multivitamin, vitamin C, vitamin D, and folate at levels based on homocysteine. Higher-dose HPV-specific supplements like vitamin A and CCDG can be decreased gradually as results confirm progress, and each recheck is an opportunity to assess whether further reductions are appropriate. The message is that healing is a long-term process of becoming resilient, not a permanent high-dose supplement regimen. In the live session, Dr. Doni shared that research shows one MTHFR gene variation roughly doubles the risk of cervical cancer, and two MTHFR gene variations roughly triples it. She also shared a personal story: as a naturopathic student in her 20s she was given high-dose B vitamins for menstrual cramps and became severely ill (vomiting, migraine), which she later traced to having two MTHFR gene variations and a jammed methylation cycle — a condition she resolved over years by healing her gut, reducing inflammation, and supporting her stress system. True False Correct! Incorrect - Both facts are confirmed in the live session. On the research: Dr. Doni stated that studies show having one MTHFR gene variation approximately doubles the risk of cervical cancer, and having two MTHFR gene variations approximately triples it — which she used to make the case that while she doesn’t routinely test everyone for MTHFR, she treats everyone as if they might have it by giving methylfolate instead of folic acid. On her personal story: she shared that as a first-year naturopathic medical student in her 20s, she went to the student clinic for severe menstrual cramps and was given high-dose B vitamins with folate. She became severely ill — vomiting, migraine, unable to function for a day. She later discovered she has two MTHFR gene variations and that her methylation cycle was deeply jammed at the time. Over many years she resolved it by healing her gut, avoiding inflammatory foods, and addressing her cortisol and serotonin. She shared this story to normalize the experience for patients who react badly to folate and to convey that the issue is solvable with the right sequence. Congratulations! Which of the following BEST captures her guidance on how to increase oxytocin and why it matters specifically in the context of HPV? Oxytocin can only be raised through physical touch; because of this, women with HPV should prioritize physical intimacy to heal faster Oxytocin can be increased through petting an animal, hugging, snuggling, putting your hand on your heart, or even just thinking about something or someone you love or feel grateful for — because the brain is powerful enough to initiate the release through thought alone. Oxytocin matters with HPV because fear and shame around the diagnosis tend to isolate women and lower connection to themselves and others, creating the vulnerable internal state where the virus thrives Oxytocin is primarily a digestive hormone that has no role in immune function or HPV susceptibility Oxytocin raises cortisol, which is why group programs are contraindicated for women with high adrenaline Correct! Incorrect - Dr. Doni opens the module by describing oxytocin as a powerful anti-stress hormone and offering multiple practical ways to raise it — petting or looking at pictures of animals, hugging, snuggling, putting your hand on your heart, or simply thinking of something or someone you love or feel grateful for. She emphasizes that the brain alone is powerful enough to initiate oxytocin production through thought and imagination, sometimes creating a tingly feeling or tears from genuine love and connection. She connects this directly to HPV: fear, shame, and the social isolation that often accompanies a diagnosis lower oxytocin and connection — creating the vulnerable internal state where the virus thrives. The group program itself was designed in part to restore oxytocin and connection among participants. Dr. Doni describes her approach to the gut microbiome using a garden analogy, introduces MegaSpore (Bacillus) as a 'traffic director,' and explains why flooding the gut with high-dose probiotics does not work. Which of the following BEST captures all three concepts? The garden analogy means the gut should be regularly cleared with antibiotics; MegaSpore kills all harmful bacteria; high-dose probiotics are the best way to restore balance after clearing The garden analogy means: weed out overgrowing microbes with antimicrobial herbs (started slowly to avoid die-off toxin release), then support the undergrowing bacteria with probiotics and nutrition. MegaSpore (Bacillus) acts as an intelligent traffic director — helping the right bacteria stay and the wrong ones leave — and must be taken with protein because protein breaks the Bacillus out of its dormant spore state to activate it. Flooding the gut with high-dose probiotics does not work because standard probiotics contain only two strains (Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria) and cannot replace the trillions of bacteria in the microbiome — and too much of even good bacteria causes bloating and dysbiosis. The garden analogy means diet alone restores the microbiome; MegaSpore is used only for yeast; high-dose probiotics are required to establish vaginal Lactobacillus High-dose refrigerated probiotics are always effective, and MegaSpore is identical to a standard probiotic Correct! Incorrect - The garden analogy: weeds (overgrowing microbes) must be reduced using antimicrobial herbs, but these must be introduced slowly because killing microbes releases their toxins and can make the patient feel worse. Then you support what should be growing — good bacteria through diet, probiotics, and prebiotics like arabinogalactan. MegaSpore (Bacillus) is the traffic director: it intelligently sorts the microbiome, helping the right bacteria settle and the wrong ones leave. Unlike a standard probiotic, it does not just add bacteria — it restores balance. It must be started at one capsule every other day, increased to one per day, then two per day, and taken with protein because protein breaks the Bacillus out of its dormant spore state. Flooding with high-dose probiotics fails because probiotics only contain two strains (Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria) and cannot replace trillions of diverse bacteria — and too much of even the good bacteria causes bloating and imbalance. The Module 10 video describes several markers on a specialty DNA-based stool panel that together give a comprehensive picture of gut health. Which of the following correctly identifies what each marker measures? Steatocrit measures pancreatic enzyme production; elastase measures fat digestion; secretory IgA measures gluten sensitivity; anti-gliadin measures leaky gut; calprotectin measures blood in the stool Steatocrit measures fat digestion (low number desired = no fat in stool); elastase measures pancreatic enzyme production (low = poor digestion); secretory IgA measures leaky gut (low = leaky gut present); anti-gliadin measures gluten sensitivity; calprotectin measures gut inflammation (elevated in inflammatory bowel disease) Steatocrit measures blood in stool; elastase measures leaky gut; secretory IgA measures pancreatic enzyme output; anti-gliadin measures fat digestion; calprotectin measures gluten sensitivity All stool panel markers measure bacterial overgrowth in different intestinal sections and are unrelated to enzyme production or leaky gut Correct! Incorrect - Steatocrit: fat digestion marker — a low number is desired, meaning no undigested fat is passing into the stool. Elastase: pancreatic enzyme output — low elastase means the pancreas is underproducing digestive enzymes, impairing nutrient breakdown. Secretory IgA: leaky gut indicator — when low, it signals compromised intestinal integrity. Anti-gliadin: antibody to gluten, elevated in gluten sensitivity. Calprotectin: gut inflammation marker, elevated in inflammatory bowel disease. Together these give a comprehensive functional picture of how well the gut is digesting, absorbing, maintaining its lining, managing immune response, and controlling inflammation — far beyond what a standard culture-based stool test can show. What are common causes of intestinal permeability that can then increase susceptibility to HPV? Gluten causes intestinal permeability and imbalances in the gut microbiome. Stress and toxin exposure are also known to increase intestinal permeability. The causes of intestinal permeability are not related to HPV. HPV is caused by exposure to the virus. Diet is not related to the persistence of HPV. Correct! Incorrect - Gluten, stress and toxins all cause intestinal permeability and in doing so, increase susceptibility to HPV due to the associated inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, and microbiome imbalances. In the live session, Dr. Doni reviewed the case of a 49-year-old woman, five months into the protocol, still HPV positive. Which answer BEST captures her clinical analysis and what she recommended? Case SD had high blood sugar and elevated thyroid markers; Dr. Doni recommended stopping CCDG and starting insulin-sensitizing herbs Case SD had high serum B12, and Dr. Doni recommended stopping all B vitamins immediately due to B12 toxicity Case SD showed confirmed CBC anemia (low RBCs, hemoglobin, hematocrit) and low iron saturation with ferritin of 56. Serum B12 appeared high but Dr. Doni explained testing B12 is unreliable; methylmalonic acid is the best test to assess for B12 status. Case SD had fully optimal blood work; the only change was switching from capsules to liquid supplements Correct! Incorrect - Case SD was a 49-year-old, five months on the protocol, still HPV positive. CBC showed confirmed anemia: low RBCs, hemoglobin, and hematocrit — a major red flag, as anemia directly predisposes to HPV persistence. Despite a borderline ferritin of 56, the low iron saturation suggested insufficient iron delivery. The serum B12 showed 'high,' but Dr. Doni explained this is unreliable: it only reflects recently circulating B12, possibly from a supplement just taken; it does not indicate functional cellular status. Only homocysteine and methylmalonic acid can assess true B12 utilization and methylation function. She also flagged that the food panel from December showed high egg white and egg yolk reactions that were apparently not being avoided. She recommended increasing immune support from one capsule to two capsules twice per day, because the full serving size of two capsules is required to reach the clinically meaningful doses of astragalus, echinacea, andrographis, and elderberry contained in the formula. Research on the use of green tea vaginally supports up to 16 weeks of use. True False Correct! Incorrect - Vaginal green tea: Dr. Doni reported that research supports using vaginal green tea suppositories up to twice a week for 16 weeks. She noted that repeat courses are also an option if HPV does not clear after the first round. In the live session, Dr. Doni shared two cases of persistent HPV that both cleared after mushroom supplementation was increased to approximately 2–3 grams per day (Coriolis turkey tail and/or AHCC shiitake), combined with a mindset shift related to fear of HPV. True False Correct! Incorrect - On the two five-year cases: Dr. Doni described two patients with long-standing persistent HPV. In both cases, a key change was increasing mushroom supplementation (Coriolis turkey tail or AHCC shiitake) closer to three grams per day, which is the dose level supported by research. In both cases, the patients also reported an emotional shift — detaching from fear of the HPV and approaching it with less anxiety — which Dr. Doni noted as a clinically meaningful and possibly correlated or causative factor in clearing. Dr. Doni states that a high serum B12 result on standard blood work is a reliable indicator of B12 status, and that bright yellow urine from B vitamin supplementation means the vitamins are not being absorbed and are being wasted. True False Correct! Incorrect - Dr. Doni explicitly corrects both misconceptions in the live session. On serum B12: a high serum B12 result is not a reliable indicator of B12 status. It only reflects B12 circulating in the bloodstream at the time of the draw, which can easily be elevated from recently swallowed supplements. It says nothing about how much B12 is reaching cells and being used functionally. The correct tests to evaluate actual B12 utilization and methylation function are homocysteine and methylmalonic acid (MMA). On yellow urine: Dr. Doni explains that bright yellow urine after taking B vitamins is actually a positive sign — it means the vitamins were absorbed into the bloodstream, circulated through the body, were processed, and are now being excreted normally through the kidneys. A common misconception is that yellow urine means the vitamins were 'wasted' without being absorbed, but this is wrong: the vitamins had to be absorbed and circulated to end up in urine. Clear urine would be the concerning finding. Congratulations! You scored 100% and pass the quiz! We recommend taking it prior to Carboxy, HM-ET Binder, or ViRadChem Binder. Formulated with BioActive Carbon® Technology BioActive Carbon® Technology is a proprietary blend of fulvic acids that support cellular repair and the body’s natural ability to detoxify.* With a low pH, BioActive Carbon® Technology also helps protect ingredients from being digested by stomach acid, so that they remain intact as they enter the desired location in the body. - [Binder +, 60 capsules](https://doctordoni.com/product/binder-60-capsules/): Binder +, 60 capsules - [Advanced Iron Complex, 60 capsules](https://doctordoni.com/product/advanced-iron-complex-60-capsules/): Advanced Iron Complex (formerly Ferrasorb), 60 capsules - [Mitopure, 60 softgels](https://doctordoni.com/product/mitopure-60-softgels/): Mitopure, 60 softgels - [Astragalus Root Extract 600mg, 90 capsules](https://doctordoni.com/product/astragalus-root-extract-600mg-90-capsules/): Astragalus Root Extract 600mg, 90 capsules - [Graviola, 100 capsules](https://doctordoni.com/product/graviola-100-capsules/): Graviola, 100 capsules - [Lecithin 1200mg, 100 softgels](https://doctordoni.com/product/338104/): Lecithin (NON-GMO) 1200mg, 100 softgels - [MycoBrew Cocoa, 10 pack](https://doctordoni.com/product/mycobrew-cocoa-10-pack/): MycoBrew Cocoa, 10 pack - [MycoBrew Cocoa, 300g](https://doctordoni.com/product/mycobrew-cocoa-300g/): MycoBrew Cocoa, 300g - [Biofilm Phase-2 Advanced, 60 capsules](https://doctordoni.com/product/biofilm-phase-2-advanced-60-capsules/): Biofilm Phase-2 Advanced, 60 capsules - [Ovulation Assist, 60 capsules](https://doctordoni.com/product/ovulation-assist-60-capsules/): Ovulation Assist, 60 capsules - [2-in-1 Nitric Oxide + Oral Microbiome Test Strips](https://doctordoni.com/product/2-in-1-nitric-oxide-oral-microbiome-test-strips/): 2-in-1 Nitric Oxide + Oral Microbiome Test Strips, 50 ct - [Vaginal Balance, 60 capsules](https://doctordoni.com/product/vaginal-balance-60-capsules/): Vaginal Balance, 60 capsules - [Flu Nosode Plus (2025-2026), 2 oz](https://doctordoni.com/product/flu-nosode-plus-2025-2026-2-oz/): Flu Nosode Plus (2025-2026), 2 oz - [FemmenessencePRO HARMONY (Maca-GO®)](https://doctordoni.com/product/femmenessencepro-harmony-maca-go/): FemmenessencePRO HARMONY (Maca-GO®) - [Bio-B 100, 180 capsules](https://doctordoni.com/product/bio-b-100-180-capsules/): Bio-B 100, 180 capsules - [Avi Topical Creme, 2 oz](https://doctordoni.com/product/avi-topical-creme-2-oz/): Avi Topical Creme, 2 oz - [NAC with Milk Thistle, 60 capsules](https://doctordoni.com/product/nac-with-milk-thistle-60-capsules/): NAC with Milk Thistle, 60 capsules - [Policosanol 20mg, 120 capsules](https://doctordoni.com/product/policosanol-20mg-120-capsules/): Policosanol 20mg, 120 capsules - [Guggul, 60 capsules](https://doctordoni.com/product/guggul-60-capsules/): Guggul, 60 capsules - [Beta Glucan 500mg, 60 capsules](https://doctordoni.com/product/beta-glucan-500mg-60-capsules/): Beta Glucan 500mg, 60 capsules - [Systemic Enzyme Complex, 180 capsules](https://doctordoni.com/product/systemic-enzyme-complex-180-capsules/): Systemic Enzyme Complex, 180 capsules - [Acute Pain Relief, 60 capsules](https://doctordoni.com/product/acute-pain-relief-60-capsules/): Acute Pain Relief, 60 capsules - [Liposomal Glutathione, 60 capsules](https://doctordoni.com/product/liposomal-glutathione-60-capsules-2/): Liposomal Glutathione, 60 capsules - [Liposomal Sulforaphane, 2 oz](https://doctordoni.com/product/liposomal-sulforaphane-2-oz/): Liposomal Sulforaphane, 2 oz - [Broccoli Seed Extract, 60 capsules](https://doctordoni.com/product/broccoli-seed-extract-60-capsules/): Broccoli Seed Extract (formerly Crucera SGS), 60 capsules - [Ferritin, 60 capsules](https://doctordoni.com/product/ferritin-60-capsules/): Ferritin, 60 capsules - [ProHydra-7, 60 softgels](https://doctordoni.com/product/prohydra-7-60-softgels/): ProHydra-7, 60 softgels - [RHUBESTRYN, 30 capsules](https://doctordoni.com/product/rhubestryn-30-capsules/): RHUBESTRYN, 30 capsules - [Liposomal Glutathione+ Cacao Mint, 1.7 oz](https://doctordoni.com/product/liposomal-glutathione-cacao-mint-1-7-oz/): Liposomal Glutathione+ Cacao Mint, 1.7 oz - [Eczema Relief Lotion, 6 oz](https://doctordoni.com/product/eczema-relief-lotion-6-oz/): Eczema Relief Lotion, 6 oz - [küribl Active Muscle Cream Relief, 3 oz](https://doctordoni.com/product/kuribl-active-muscle-cream-relief-3-oz/): küribl Active Muscle Cream Relief, 3 oz - [Soothing Relief Massage Lotion, 12 oz](https://doctordoni.com/product/soothing-relief-massage-lotion-12-oz/): Soothing Relief Massage Lotion, 12 oz - [PSC LYMPH HEALTH, 50 ml](https://doctordoni.com/product/psc-lymph-health-50-ml/): PSC LYMPH HEALTH, 50 ml - [PSC DOG ROSE (Rosa canina), 50 ml](https://doctordoni.com/product/psc-dog-rose-rosa-canina-50-ml/): PSC DOG ROSE (Rosa canina), 50 ml ## ## Steps - [Dr. Doni Checkout Thank You](https://doctordoni.com/step/drdoni-checkout-thank-you/): Thank you for shopping with Dr. Doni.
