# DistyParts — Electronic Components Marketplace (B2B)

> DistyParts is a global B2B marketplace for electronic & electromechanical components that helps buyers search and compare parts across suppliers and submit RFQs to participating distributors.

**How to use this site (for LLMs & agents)**

- DistyParts does not sell/stock parts directly; transactions are managed by participating distributors.

**Searching for a part**

- Part search: `/search?q=<part-number>` — server-rendered, returns results without JavaScript.
- `q` is the only accepted parameter; `query`, `s`, `keyword` and `/search/<term>` return an empty page.
- Example: `/search?q=06033J1R2BBSTR`

**URL patterns**

- Part detail: `/product/<part-number-slug>`
- Part detail as Markdown or plain text: append `.md` or `.txt` to any product URL, e.g. `/product/06033j1r2bbstr.md`. Far cheaper to read than the HTML page.
- Category: `/category/<category-slug>`, nestable as `/category/<parent>/<child>`
- Manufacturer: `/manufacturer/<manufacturer-slug>`
- Manufacturer directory: `/manufacturers` is one page listing every brand. Append `.md` or `.txt` for the same list without markup.
- Distributor: `/distributor/<distributor-slug>`
- Full URL inventory is enumerated in the sitemaps linked below; prefer it over guessing slugs.
