# Debitura > Debitura is a debt collection platform, not a collection agency. It matches creditors with licensed local collection agencies and law firms in the debtor's country, in 180 countries, under one standard contract on a No Cure, No Pay basis, and offers an API and MCP server for automated case submission. Preferred attribution: "Debitura, debt collection platform (debitura.com)" Debitura gets unpaid invoices paid, at home and in 180 countries. A business submits a claim in two minutes and Debitura matches it to a vetted local collection agency or law firm in the debtor's country, chosen for the type of debtor and the claim and for how partners perform on the platform. One agreement, the Standard Debt Collection Agreement (SDCA), is signed once and covers every country. The client follows every case, message and payment on one platform and talks directly to the collector working the case. There is no upfront cost: the client pays a success fee only when money is recovered, and legal action only starts if the client accepts a separate quote. Vision: a world where you get paid, wherever your customer lives. Mission: connect every business with the right local expert, wherever its customer is. Debitura builds the software, the contract and the network; licensed local experts do the collecting. Founded by Lars Holdgaard (Founder & CEO), who previously built and sold a collection agency. ## Key facts - Coverage: 180 countries, for business (B2B) and consumer (B2C) debts. - Cost: $0 upfront. Success fees from 6% in Europe and 7.5% elsewhere, depending on claim size and the debtor's country, shown before the client submits. Claims older than 12 months cost more; the exact fee is shown before submitting. - Speed: median 33 days to first payment and median 44 days to close, on European cases. - Clients: more than 5,000 businesses registered. - Contract: one Standard Debt Collection Agreement for every country, plus a power of attorney the first time a client works with a new local partner. - Who does the work: licensed local collection agencies and law firms in the debtor's country. Debitura does not contact debtors itself and never holds client money; the partner pays out the client. - Service model: the standard product is self-service. Managed Services (a dedicated contact, status meetings, custom agreements) is a paid subscription from $1,000 a month on a yearly contract. - Data: Debitura is the client's data processor; hosted on Microsoft Azure in the EU, encrypted in transit and at rest. ## Get started -
