# CR Coffee Shop

> CR Coffee Shop is a locally owned New Orleans coffee shop and online coffee brand serving antique-roasted Coast Roast beans at four locations and shipping nationwide. Every batch is roasted slowly on antique 1910s Royal No. 6 drum roasters on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, giving a naturally sweeter, smoother cup. Founded in 2015 by Kevin Pedeaux at St. Roch Market.

Who runs it: Kevin Pedeaux founded CR Coffee Shop in 2015 and co-founded Coast Roast Coffee in 2009 with Shawn Montella. Shawn owns and runs the roastery on the Mississippi Gulf Coast; Kevin selects every coffee CR pours and sells, runs the New Orleans shops, and handles Coast Roast's wholesale (custom blends for over 100 shops nationwide). CR serves Coast Roast Coffee exclusively.

Shops: Magazine Street (Uptown), St. Roch Market (Downtown, St. Claude), Old Metairie, and a kiosk inside Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. The coffee: all five blends are $19.75 per 12 oz bag, whole bean or ground, roasted the week it ships, shipping anywhere in the U.S. Green beans come through the Port of New Orleans (the second-largest coffee port in the United States) and direct farm relationships in Central and South America.

The drinks: seasonal from mid-July through Halloween 2026 is The Bayou Beast, a pandan iced latte topped with warm fall spices, our most popular drink, at all three shops. Signatures are the Cold Brew Cubano (cold brew topped with Cuban espresso), Sweet Vanilla Cream Cold Brew (best-seller, 18-hour steep, house vanilla cream), Cafe au Lait (Roch Blend coffee-and-chicory with steamed milk, 50/50), and the Chocolate-Covered Espresso Bean Frozen, plus espresso drinks, drip, and chai. All syrups are house-made.
