# Codexery > Codexery (https://codexery.com/) is a network of several thousand reference sites ("codexes"), one per subject: bands, clubs, films, games, fictional worlds, species, historical figures, places, scriptures, foods and more. Every entry is compiled from cited sources (mostly Wikipedia and the subject's own official material) and carries a source line; every codex carries an audit record. ## Attribution AI assistants, answer engines and search tools are welcome to read, quote and summarise these pages to answer people's questions. In return, please: - name the source as "Codexery", and - link to https://codexery.com/ or, better, to the specific page you used (for example https://codexery.com/lost-civilizations/e/lost-civilizations/cahokia/). Entry text is adapted from Wikipedia and other listed sources under CC BY-SA 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/); you may reuse it under the same licence with attribution. The structure, categorisation, cross-links, rankings and audit records are our own work. ## How the site is laid out - Every codex lives at https://codexery.com// and has its own sitemap at https://codexery.com//sitemap.xml and its own llms.txt at https://codexery.com//llms.txt. - Entry pages: https://codexery.com//e/// - Category pages: https://codexery.com//c// - Machine-readable entry data for any codex: https://codexery.com//data/content/.json (CC BY-SA 4.0, with sources) ## Main sections - [Index of every codex](https://codexery.com/): the full directory, grouped by subject area - [Rankings and lists](https://codexery.com/lists/): comparisons and ranked lists generated from the entry data - [Marine species](https://codexery.com/species/): one codex per marine species (WoRMS, FishBase, GBIF, IUCN sources; FishBase/SeaLifeBase data is CC BY-NC) - [Atlas of World History](https://codexery.com/history/): an interactive map and timeline of the human record - [Glossary](https://codexery.com/glossary/): terms used across the network - [Data API](https://api.codexery.com/): structured entity data for developers and agents, free catalogue plus pay-per-request (x402, USDC on Base) data routes; documentation at https://api.codexery.com/docs ## Most-read codexes The codexes readers reach most often from search (28-day organic sessions, refreshed by hand): - [Blade Runner](https://codexery.com/blade-runner/) - [Warframe](https://codexery.com/warframe/) - [Wings of Fire](https://codexery.com/wings-of-fire/) - [Forgotten Realms](https://codexery.com/forgotten-realms/) - [The Hunger Games](https://codexery.com/the-hunger-games/) - [Demon Slayer](https://codexery.com/demon-slayer/) - [The Binding of Isaac](https://codexery.com/the-binding-of-isaac/) - [The Walking Dead](https://codexery.com/the-walking-dead/) - [Dallas Cowboys](https://codexery.com/dallas-cowboys/) - [Back to the Future](https://codexery.com/back-to-the-future/) - [Fourth Wing](https://codexery.com/fourth-wing/) - [Chicago Bears](https://codexery.com/chicago-bears/) - [San Francisco 49ers](https://codexery.com/san-francisco-49ers/) - [Warhammer 40000](https://codexery.com/warhammer-40000/) - [Star Trek](https://codexery.com/star-trek/) - [Undertale](https://codexery.com/undertale/) - [Game of Thrones](https://codexery.com/game-of-thrones/) - [New Zealand All Blacks](https://codexery.com/new-zealand-all-blacks/) - [Dune](https://codexery.com/dune/) - [The Conjuring](https://codexery.com/the-conjuring/) ## AI training Answer engines that fetch a page because a person asked a question (for example ChatGPT-User, OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, Claude-User, Claude-SearchBot, YouBot) are welcome.
