# Chet's Shoes

> Chet's Shoes is a third-generation, family-owned work boot and safety footwear retailer based in the Twin Cities, Minnesota, in business since 1947. It sells online with nationwide shipping, from two stores (Spring Lake Park and Circle Pines, MN), and from two mobile boot trucks that fit workers on the job site. It also runs managed safety footwear programs for employers.

Chet Sr. opened Chet's Shoes in Columbia Heights, Minnesota, in 1947; the business is now run by his grandchildren as Chet's Shoes, LLC. Chet's specializes in industrial, safety and recreational footwear from brands such as Timberland PRO, KEEN Utility, Thorogood, Danner, Brunt, Carolina, Ariat, Wolverine, Terra, Chippewa and Carhartt. Snowgear is Chet's own line of studded winter overshoes and pac boots, first built in 2008 for railroad crews working on glare ice.

A large share of the business is B2B: safety footwear programs with on-site boot truck fittings, subsidy tracking, approved-style controls and custom invoicing for employers.
