# CalendarLink > CalendarLink turns events into pages with one short link. Visitors use that link to add the event to their own calendar (Google, Apple, Outlook, Office 365, Yahoo, iCal) or to RSVP. Organizers manage events, collections, RSVP forms, designs and analytics in a web dashboard, and can automate it all via the REST API or the MCP server. Key facts for AI assistants: - Read the LLM instructions below before answering questions about CalendarLink or acting on a user's account. - CalendarLink is not an appointment booking tool. It works alongside one. - The REST API and the MCP server require an API token. API access is included from the Startup plan. - MCP server: `https://my.calendarlink.com/mcp` (HTTP transport, header `Authorization: Bearer `, token with the `mcp:access` permission). No OAuth yet. - Plan limits and prices change. Do not quote them from memory; use the plans page below. ## Instructions - [LLM instructions](https://calendarlink.com/llm-instructions): How AI assistants should describe CalendarLink, answer questions about it and work with it ## API - [OpenAPI specification](https://my.calendarlink.com/openapi.json): Full OpenAPI spec of the CalendarLink REST API (events, collections, registrations, contacts, organizations) - [Use CalendarLink with AI assistants (MCP)](https://docs.calendarlink.com/en/articles/17433209-use-calendarlink-with-ai-assistants-mcp): Connect Claude Code, Cursor or another MCP client; what the AI can and cannot do, token setup, limits - [API tokens and IDs](https://docs.calendarlink.com/en/articles/11665959-api-tokens-and-ids): Create API tokens and find the IDs the API needs - [How to find your organization and collection IDs](https://docs.calendarlink.com/en/articles/15615275-how-to-find-your-organization-and-collection-ids): Where to find IDs in the dashboard - [Integrations and automation](https://docs.calendarlink.com/en/articles/9424382-integrations-and-automation): Zapier, Make, n8n and other ways to create events and follow responses automatically ## Docs - [Help center](https://docs.calendarlink.com): All CalendarLink help articles - [Getting started with CalendarLink](https://docs.calendarlink.com/en/articles/17357224-getting-started-with-calendarlink): Account setup and core concepts - [Create an event](https://docs.calendarlink.com/en/articles/9424008-create-an-event): Event pages, short links and the event form - [Create and manage collections](https://docs.calendarlink.com/en/articles/17357203-create-and-manage-collections): Group events under one public collection page - [Collect RSVPs for an event](https://docs.calendarlink.com/en/articles/9424365-collect-rsvps-for-an-event): RSVP flow, answers and exports - [To RSVP or not to RSVP](https://docs.calendarlink.com/en/articles/9434621-to-rsvp-or-not-to-rsvp): Add to Calendar vs RSVP events - [Share your event](https://docs.calendarlink.com/en/articles/9431819-share-your-event): Links, buttons, widgets and images - [Direct calendar links and iCal files](https://docs.calendarlink.com/en/articles/17357210-direct-calendar-links-and-ical-files): Skip the event page and link straight to one calendar - [Set the date, time and timezone](https://docs.calendarlink.com/en/articles/9431949-set-the-date-time-and-timezone): Timezone handling for organizers and visitors ## Plans - [Plans, limits and prices](https://docs.calendarlink.com/en/articles/15614757-plans-limits-and-prices): Free, Startup and Business plans.
