# Blackcat

> Blackcat is a European payment-services platform issued by Papaya Ltd., an Electronic Money Institution authorised and regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority. It provides personal and business payment accounts with euro IBANs, payment cards, SEPA transfers, rewards, and access to integrated crypto services supplied by a partner.

Blackcat is not a bank. Client funds held in e-money accounts are safeguarded under applicable rules but are not covered by the Depositor Compensation Scheme. The official language of contractual documentation is English. Integrated crypto exchange and custodial-wallet services are provided by MANERIO Sp. z o.o., while the loyalty programme is provided by Baltic Technology Solutions OÜ.
