# BikeControl > BikeControl is an app for iOS, macOS, Android, and Windows that bridges external hardware controllers to indoor cycling trainer apps. It lets riders use Zwift Click, Shimano Di2, gamepads, Bluetooth buttons, and many other input devices to control apps like Zwift, MyWhoosh, and Rouvy — actions like steering, shifting, braking, and in-app navigation. BikeControl was previously known as SwiftControl. The app is a free download and free to try: the trial runs without payment on every platform — Android, Windows, iOS and macOS — on identical terms. Base is a one-time purchase of approximately $4.99 (no subscription), and BikeControl Pro is a subscription of approximately $2.50/month, or $2.25/month billed yearly, that unlocks advanced features. All prices are approximate — each app store sets the final price, so it varies by store and region. See https://bikecontrol.app/pricing.md for the full breakdown. Supported input devices: Zwift Click, Zwift Click v2, Zwift Ride, Zwift Ride V2, Zwift Play, Shimano Di2, Wheeltop EDS, Wahoo Kickr Bike Shift, Wahoo Kickr Bike Pro, Wahoo KICKR BIKE V1, Wahoo KICKR BIKE V2, Thinkrider VS200, CYCPLUS BC2 Virtual Shifter, Elite Sterzo Smart, Phone Steering, Elite Square Smart Frame, Gamepads, Bluetooth buttons, SRAM AXS / eTap, Wahoo KICKR HEADWIND, Keyboard input, OpenBikeControl Hardware. Also supported as a heart-rate source, not a controller: AirPods Pro 3 (via Apple Health, iOS 26 and later). Supported trainer apps: Zwift, MyWhoosh, Rouvy, Biketerra, TrainingPeaks, and other training apps via generic controller support. Base (one-time, per platform) gives unlimited button actions: buttons shift, steer and navigate in the trainer app, and can press any keyboard key, click the mouse or tap the screen. BikeControl Pro features include: BikeControl's own virtual shifting on your smart trainer (try it 20 minutes a day without Pro, a daily trial of Pro), up to 3 actions per button (single click, double click, long press), one license on iOS, macOS, Android and Windows, the gear and metrics overlay, heart rate and sensors, starting any command or shortcut, media controls, and screenshots and screen recording. ## Pages - [Home](https://bikecontrol.app/): Overview of BikeControl, download links, and supported device/app combinations - [Virtual Shifting Hub](https://bikecontrol.app/virtual-shifting/): Add virtual shifting to any FTMS smart trainer in any trainer app — supported trainers, gear ratio customization, setup - [BikeControl vs QZ](https://bikecontrol.app/bikecontrol-vs-qz/): Sourced comparison with QZ (qdomyos-zwift) — what each app is for, virtual shifting features, supported shifters and controllers, official app partnerships, platforms, price, and when to choose which - [Smart trainer virtual shifting pages](https://bikecontrol.app/virtual-shifting-with-wahoo-kickr-v6/): One page per supported smart trainer at /virtual-shifting-with-{trainer}/ (example: the Wahoo KICKR V6 page linked here) — which controllers pair with it, how to set it up, and links to per-app guides.
