# BattleGuess

> BattleGuess is a free browser-based military history quiz game at https://battleguess.app. Players identify famous battles from images across 227 battles spanning 9 historical eras, with 5 game modes and a daily challenge. No account or download required.

BattleGuess covers battles from Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia through to the World Wars and the South American wars of independence. Each battle has an encyclopedia page with its date, location, a short account of what happened and why it mattered, one lesser-known fact, and a link to the matching Wikipedia article. The game features scoring, a daily challenge with a day streak and global leaderboard, achievements, and shareable results. It is made by an independent developer, Harry H (https://x.com/HarryHH1993).
