# Avo — avohq.io > Avo is a Ruby on Rails framework for building admin panels and internal tools. You configure resources, fields, actions, filters, and dashboards in plain Ruby, and extend anything with regular Rails code. The core gem is open source and free; paid add-ons extend it. This is the index for avohq.io: pricing, the gem catalogue and release history, the blog, the glossary, and customer stories. The documentation lives on docs.avohq.io and is indexed separately, below. Add `.md` to most URLs on this site to get the page as markdown instead of HTML — https://avohq.io/pricing.md is the pricing page. The links below already use the markdown URL wherever one exists. ## Documentation - [Documentation home](https://docs.avohq.io/4.0/): every guide and reference for Avo 4.0. - [Docs index (llms.txt)](https://docs.avohq.io/4.0/llms.txt): every documentation page, one line each. - [Docs full text (llms-full.txt)](https://docs.avohq.io/4.0/llms-full.txt): the full text of every documentation page in one file. Large — high token count. - [Docs map (docs-map.md)](https://docs.avohq.io/4.0/docs-map.md): every documentation page with the headings inside it. - [Guides](https://docs.avohq.io/4.0/guides.html): how-to guides and worked examples. Guides sit outside the docs sidebar, so they are absent from the three indexes above; that page links every one of them. - [Installation](https://docs.avohq.io/4.0/installation.html): add Avo to an existing Rails app. - [Agentic engineering](https://docs.avohq.io/4.0/agentic-engineering.html): working on an Avo app with AI coding agents. ## Product and pricing - [Pricing](https://avohq.io/pricing.md): every plan, bundle, and add-on, with prices. Each add-on has its own page at https://avohq.io/addons/.md, linked from there. - [Blueprints](https://avohq.io/blueprints): drop-in Avo setups for Rails starter kits. - [FAQ](https://avohq.io/faq) - [Security](https://avohq.io/security) - [Support](https://avohq.io/support) ## Gems and releases - [Gem catalogue](https://avohq.io/gems.md): every Avo gem with its latest version. One gem, with its full version history and install instructions: https://avohq.io/gems/.md - [Releases](https://avohq.io/releases.md): what shipped, across core and every add-on gem. One release: https://avohq.io/releases//.md - [Roadmap](https://avohq.io/roadmap.md): in progress, planned, and shipped. - Feeds: https://avohq.io/releases.rss for everything, https://avohq.io/gems/.rss for one gem. ## Writing - [Blog](https://avohq.io/blog): posts at https://avohq.io/blog/.md, feed at https://avohq.io/blog/rss - [Glossary](https://avohq.io/glossary.md): Rails and admin-panel terms explained.
